I have bipolar disorder 1. Currently I am experiencing depression. I am totally immobilised and can’t get motivated. Can’t take anti-depressants because they cause mania. Any suggestions?
I don't have suggestions yet. I actually got online searching for help about the same thing myself. The lack of motivation and energy has meant I have taken a few days off work. Today I actually showered and got out of bed which is great. Just reading your post has made me feel less alone. I am seeing my doctor in a couple of weeks. My husband has said maybe I should get a diabetes check. I am glad I am not deeply depressed or manic, but the apathy and low energy is so debilitating.
