Something’s not right

Seattle

Seattle

I heard Seattle is the rainiest city in the world. But that's not true. The rainiest city is me. And every umbrella I've ever had has flipped inside out, or buckled beyond repair.

I don't know how much time I have left, but I really would like to move from this rainy city. Go somewhere verdant and songful. Where sunshine is other people's faces, and star light is the truth of their words. And they are at home in my unrainy sky.

Re: Seattle

and I thank you so much for it @Historylover

Gee wizz, I want to hear more.

My Dr does bulk bill, but I do make needless car trips. And coffee purchases. And I overcompensate with taking the kids out for drinks/dinner/dessert what have you...

I've booked us in (the children and i) to draw up a budget plan - just as soon I move house. They like the challenge, and feeling included in some proper decision making.

A couple more consults with you would be mighty helpful, too!

@Kyle1, I'm so pleased that my post wasn't misplaced or inappropriate. I was concerned that it may have caused offence.

Cheers to you and yours.

Re: Seattle

@Kyle1, I just have to clarify that I lived on McDonalds, fruit and milk products only when I was travelling. I never buy take away these days, but I don't have children.

Re: Seattle

oh gosh @Historylover

I have such a huge weakness for McDonalds breakfast. The sausage muffin and hash brown. Lord help me! I can't resist.

And fruit - my son and I could easily live on that alone. Well, most of the time, anyways.

It's an underrated crime that it cost more at the stores than it does jellybeans and coke...

Re: Seattle

I’ve seen plenty I like @Kyle1 but the price ranges from the sublime to the ridiculous.
