I speak too many truths that threaten their 'standing'.
I know how that goes, @Historylover . I, too, often speak things that, as far as I can tell, are glaring truths; but instead of having my statements civilly debunked, I find they get completely sensored. They don't want the truth to be spoken or acknowledged. Because if I was spouting dangerous misinformation, why wouldn't they simply disprove what I say? Perhaps I might thereby come to understand their point of view, too.
I'm sorry to hear that you have to wait so long to get some answers from that advocacy organization. When the situation is so dire and the stakes so immediate, you really should be able to get assistance very quickly, shouldn't you? It's probably a testiment to how underfunded, under-resourced, and over-worked that advocacy organization is. Thousands of patients who need help and not nearly enough advocates to get to them all in short order.
This is probably a really stupid suggestion, but you've often mentioned how you like to read & study? Would it be helpful for you to spend your long wait reading up on the Vic mental health laws so that you can better undertstand what your therapists can and can't get away with?
I don't know. Perhaps I've just seen way too many cop shows with wrongly-convicted convicts who spent their prison terms obsessively researching their own cases so as to prove their innosence.
In any event, I hope you manage to get out of that situation soon, @Historylover .🤗 We all deserve to be safe and free.
