Dealing with heartbreak

Dealing with heartbreak

It has been a year since I lost a person in my life who meant a lot to me.

Over the course of 2 years I developed strong feelings for someone, whom I felt I had a real emotional connection with. I was struggling with life, and they really cared for me and helped brighten my mood. I developed feelings for them, and wanted to prove I was worthy, and not a waste of time. I thought my feelings didn’t exist anymore, but their caring manner and a bright smile gave me a warm feeling, and I started to feel better and more confident in myself. Then they suddenly left me, and I question my feelings and if they were real. I have missed her every day for a year, and the thoughts that she didn’t feel for me really hurts. I have been in a dark place, and now realise I need to find myself. The fact that I now feel such pain is really hard to deal with though and I can’t get over it.

Re: Dealing with heartbreak

Hey @Rockdog

I'm sorry to hear that you were let go from your job this week and that sounds really tough to deal with. If it was making you sick now you have an opportunity to look for something that you might enjoy. You may not know your next step just yet and maybe some time to refocus will help provide you with the direction you need to go in.

Sitting with you!

Re: Dealing with heartbreak

Wow! I'm sorry I only just read this message @Rockdog .

I wish I could say I'm sorry you were let go (which I am in a way), but at the same time, like you said, it's been what I've been seeing/saying for a long time. It's not you.

I believe it's part of the plan. A PUSH in the right direction because you know yourself that you won't leave otherwise 🙂

So in a way, I'm actually cheering you on.

Re: Dealing with heartbreak

Thanks @tyme

I feel weird about it for the same reason. I am trying to be positive about it but I am really scared as well because I don’t know what I am going to do. I feel pretty flat at the moment. If feel a bit sad I wasted 2 years, time is marching on and things aren’t getting any better. It is weird that things are happening, but as time goes on, she goes on. I will probably pend the rest of my life missing her, as she is off getting married and living happily ever after. Do you think that it is really part of the plan? I do sort of feel there is something mysteriously happening. I was making myself sick, not good for the fairytale working out. The reason I was let go was because of my mental stress. They let me go while I had a medical certificate and was taking 2 weeks off. I agreed with them the job was no good for me. It is great to hear from you, I hope things are going well. What have you been up to?

Re: Dealing with heartbreak

I'm really just working now. Someone invited me to go to Tonga in May... I'm not sure I'll go though. 2 weeks... I don't think I could manage the humidity! @Rockdog

Anyway, i recognise you feel flat and down now about work, but this was part of the plan! It sounds like you are afraid for the plan to work. It sounds like the closer it is to working out, the more doubt you are experiencing! This is not the way to go! You should be jumping for joy!

Re: Dealing with heartbreak

Hi @tyme

thanks for you message, sorry I didn’t see a notification in my entails. I was checking and hoping you would.:-)

Tonga sounds fun, I think you should go.

Is that your person from a few years ago? I think it might be the universe calling for you. I’m not scared of it working, just feel like I couldn’t happen for me because life isn’t meant to work out. Not the vibe I want to send out. You are right, what do I want to show her. Not the miserable person I was in that job. You know what I do feel the plan coming together sometime. The universe said, you are just going to stay and be depressed so I will chose for you. Hmmm what do I want to do? She did say she could see it. It will work right? Have you seen Jonah from Tonga? Funny

Thanks for you support, I just need to trust and be a better person 😊

Re: Dealing with heartbreak

Hey @Rockdog ,

Glad you responded. I was wondering what happened.

Lol. Jonah from Tonga.. I saw is many moons ago... I'm actually surprised ABC allows it on their channel as well as Superwog. lol. Have you seen that one?

I'm actually quite impressed that things have come this far for you. It's faster than I expected! I thought it would take a lot longer, but it seems that it's quicker than you know it! You better get yourself sorted quick fast!

Re: Dealing with heartbreak

Hi @tyme, I always got notifications when you message, but didn’t for this one either. I have seen a bit of Superwog and agree. How do they allow it on tv? Especially in these politically correct times. Funny though. And Jonah is a legend. Are you going to go?
I feel so far away from getting sorted, but maybe things are falling into place. I am thinking of maybe doing a counselling course. I need to be happy in myself first, like she said. Maybe it is the plan working.
It is strange, meeting her was an accident. Or was it? Getting feelings just happened, but that was from our connection. It is meant to be right? 😊

Re: Dealing with heartbreak

There are too many signs and too much evidence to deny what happened @Rockdog . It was and is real. Yes, feelings happened, but they happened for a reason.

As for getting notifications, have you clicked on "Subscribe" under post options? That way, whenever someone responds here, you will get a message. Here's a screenshot to help you:

And yes, I think a counselling course would be great! Once you've done it and registered with a counselling board, you can even run your own business 🙂

Why not?

Re: Dealing with heartbreak

Thank you @tyme

I got a notification this time.

Thanks for letting me know that because I wasn’t sure where the study would lead.

It is a free TAFE course so I’m thinking it might be another opportunity.

You are so right, I need to get things sorted. If I get started I was hoping you could point me in the right direction, where to register etc.

As you know, I run on feelings and intuition. My heart beats my head every time. I agree that things happening are more than a coincidence. Eg. feathers. Lol and the universe helping make decisions for me. I also think if it wasn’t real I wouldn’t feel the pain I do.

So are you going to see Jonah? Would you need to pay for a flight? I’m not sure how far away Tonga is. I think it would be a cool experience if you could get some time off, and it was fun spending two weeks with the other person.

When my plan works out, you are invited to the wedding😊
