Welcome and getting started

Hi all

Hi all

I'm some kind of recovered Schizophrenic... still recovering maybe, who can control his thoughts and actions at least.

I arrived in Australia recently, I'm a PhD student.

I'm constantly afraid my visa won't get renewed or that I won't find enough money or that... something or the other.

I'm afraid that if I upload my full medical history on my visa application I may get kicked out of Australia, once they see the things I'd done when I was ill.

Yeah, I'd been in prison once and been deported from one particular country already... due to same health issues.

Most of all, I'm afraid I'll relapse.

Yeah I'm seeing a psychiatrist and all that, taking my medication regularly without fail, but who knows.

Its not an easy journey to have that diagnosis on your brief.

Do not know how to advise, but I do know there are lots of things that it is worth being afraid of. We are hearing about issues re foraging for warrigal greens without ... washing ... and pesky mushies.

I hope you get relief from posting on forum and meeting people, and it brings out the best in you.
