Any good churches to visit there? Did you go this morning? Love ancient architecture and history. Churches are great for it. Hugz xox

Re: Far and Away

It is a big decision @Former-Member and ultimately one I need to make for what is best for Cat. I need to talk to the vet again before I make that decision - so much I need to find out first as I didn't really take it all in yesterday. From everything I have looked at the prognosis is not good in where it is and how quickly it has developed. There is always that hope that it is benign but the likelihood of tat is very low.

Sorry you lost your Kelpie the same way - it is heartbreaking however we lose our fur babies but something we do have to face - just did not think I would have to face this for years yet.

I know shutting down is my way to cope but it always hits me later - makes me great in a crisis usually as I keep calm and level headed but it is afterwards that is hits me. It was the same when my Nan died and then when I found Pop - it was up to me to keep everyone together but then there was no-one there for me. When my first cat died I went to work and then buried her after work - again everyone else was crying for her and I comforted them. It has always been the way it is in our family - me holding it together for everyone else and then being alone with my own pain. I suppose history has led me to that alone place - had to deal with so much on my own with no-one being there for me, no-one knowing or no-one helping. It is a lonely place when you have been there so often and nothing changes.

Hi @Zoe7

Im worried about you. And also concerned I said something here last night that hurt you. Your response was somewhat cold. But I put that down to you feeling numb re Cats prognosis. Totally understandable. But you havent posted anywhere since (I dont think) so now Im not so sure. And Im over thinking, worried I upset you. I hope thats not the case?
