Jetlag takes about a week to settle I'm told, and I'm sure there's son Celtic wisdom to get over your post viral fatigue How's WH coping with his obcessive routines while travelling? A challenge I would think 😕 Hope this is a time yo rekindle some first love maybe.
Any good churches to visit there? Did you go this morning? Love ancient architecture and history. Churches are great for it. Hugz xox

Re: Far and Away

Glad you have been okay @Pepsimax I was going to stay home all day tomorrow but need washing powder to do my washing as well so we have something in common tonight It certainly builds up - especially if you don't have a washing machine for some time.

@Faith-and-Hope Hope you have had a nice day with your cousin. Would love to hear all about your day Hon but also hoping you have had an early night. I'l be up for a while yet as I want to finish the washing. Toby is fast asleep and making puppy noises again - his supervisory role today has worn him out lol As usual Cat is sound asleep in her room so all is well in the Zoe household

Re: Far and Away

Good morning @Zoe7 🌞👋💕 and anyone else around ......

It was a lovely day. We did get the errands run, and also a little bit of shopping together. Then we went our separate ways for a while. She needed to rest up.

We had tradesmen and technitions in because S2 has moved into the art space and needed computer access points and stuff for his computer-based art studies, and other privacy and safety bots needed to be seen to. My mr. is not handy at all, so we have to pay other people to do what some people can manage for themselves ..... but it’s always been that way for our household. which is a blessing cos then they are done properly ..... usually .....

I worked some more on my assignment, and asked the tradie to hang up a couple of my artworks 👍 as he was hanging some of S2’s while he was there.

Then we took the girls out for dinner. S2 needed recovery time from having people in his space, and to work on assignments, although he did come to the living space to practice the piano, which is uplifting for all of us.

Mr. didn’t want to come out with us.

Dinner out was lovely .... we laughed a lot and there was no sense of having to rush. It was good to see D3 relaxing, and she made her own way there without mr. “supervision” via escorting, which she needs to do more of without it becoming a drama and emotional blackmail. She is finding ways to extend her personal space.

@Faith-and-Hope hugzz💗

Honestly don't know how you juggle it all... think God must be propping things up a little or something... think we'll be surprised how much when we get to heaven. Keep doing what your doing, deep breaths 💗

Re: Far and Away

That all sounds like a really nice day and evening @Faith-and-Hope - things accomplished and some laughs as well Maybe Mr not going out with you all was a good thing as it allowed you all to relax and enjoy each others company

It is great to hear S2 has moved to the art space - another step towards his own independence and a really positive move for him Also wonderful that D3 made her own way to dinner independent of that 'escorting' - another example of growth and confidence in your baby dragons - so good to hear

Also good to hear you did a little on your assignments - hope you can work on them bit by bit and not have too many late nights this week.

I need to go out again today - need a few things from the supermarket and have to buy nails to put the birdhouses together. Thought I had some but cannot find them (which is not surprising in the mess I still have in the garage). Not going to spend anymore time moving things and looking for them - easier and quicker to just get some more.

Will them spend a couple of hours doing more cutting but not super stressed about that either - have enough already done to start with the kids this week and can do a little more after work on Monday and then finish them all off on Thursday. I can only work with a couple of kids at a time anyway and have 2 weeks to get them done. It all seems do-able now though - still a lot to gt done but I actually enjoy the cutting so it is more a stress release rather than a chore.

I hope you made it to church this morning and enjoy your day with your cousin again. Better start getting organised, dressed and moving myself. Will check in with you across the day when I can. Love and hugs Hon

Re: Far and Away

Hi @Former-Member 👋🌻

Thank you for all your lovely thoughts and care. It is difficult and full of juggles at times, but other times things go a bit quiet and calm. There are undercurrents of

course, but these belong with the hidden illness that we can’t do much about until / if it gets discovered.

How are you going ? Is it a lovely day where you are ? The sun is shining here, and it’s now come up to 12 degrees after a 6deg start this morning.

Hi @Zoe7 👋🦋

It was more relaxed without mr. there, but that was because there was no judgement resting over what anyone ordered, sharing a starter between all of us, not time limit or clock-watching while we were there ..... the sorts of things that make it feel limited and controlled.

I am glad you are going to buy more nails instead of going in hunt of the ones you have amongst the unsorted / stored gear. We have done a lot of that sort of re-buying, which is how we have so much stuff in storage boxes, so large amounts of duplicated items we need to donate, to be rid of them quickly, and reduce

the storage costs. Other duplicates need to be used, or kept as spare stock, to a limited (sensible) degree, but again, out of boxes and out of storage.

The thought of the coming bird houses must’ve exciting ...... maybe @Former-Member @would like to make one or two to add to her bird feeder in the back yard ?

This is one I found nailed to a tree in a park while I was travelling overseas.

Re: Far and Away

I hear you @Shaz51 . My mr. has never been comfortable with my family. He did used to make an effort, but now he doesn’t bother to much.
