A challenge I would think 😕 Hope this is a time yo rekindle some first love maybe.
Any good churches to visit there? Did you go this morning? Love ancient architecture and history. Churches are great for it. Hugz xox

awww @Shaz51 My Friday dose of Smoky antics - love it my sister It seems he had a great time with you today and you got lots of cuddles in too 😺

@Faith-and-Hope Hope you have finished uni now and are enjoying the company of your cousin. I am soooo happy you have someone with you this weekend. I hope you get to do some things together and enjoy every minute of it

I have been to the chemist, bank, supermarket and school. Luckily everything is in the same complex so could do it all together (apart from school of course). Hermit crabs fed and watered and should now be right until Monday. A couple of my kids were still playing at school with their parents and ran down to greet me at the car. I had to tell them not to come close because I was still sick - little cherubs looked sad that they couldn't have cuddles

Still have the remainder of the fence palings to pull off the frames and nails removed but that may now have to wait until tomorrow morning. The priority tonight is to stack the ones I have already done in the garage so if the expected rain tomorrow comes they will be dry. I think I will have enough with those I have already done today anyway. Tonight I will plan out how many I need of each length so cutting them tomorrow will be quicker. It is underway at least so a step closer to getting it all done.

Re: Far and Away

Cat does that to me when she plays on the bed @Shaz51 - never leaves a mark either.

She is presently sitting at her bowl waiting for her dinner lol - I'll feed her soon and then she will go outside as it is still a lovely day here. Tomorrow it is supposed to rain again though. Do you have any plans for photo taking this weekend?

Re: Far and Away

Hi @Shaz51 I also love reading about your "Smoky" days. I have been reading your posts about your Mum and how she's going. Sorry I havent posted since I returned home, but please continue to tag me on your other threads so I can keep up with how things are going. I understand her not wanting to have any further treatment for skin cancers, bowell blockages, etc, etc. My Mum had one of those Advanced Care Directives in place before she died ... do not rescusitate, do not prolong life, etc. And thats what occurred in her case. I hope you get that rest day you so richly deserve, on Sunday my friend.

Hi @Zoe7 . @Faith-and-Hope How lovely that you have a cousing staying with you for a few days. I am assuming this is a welcome visitor? Really hope you get to enjoy their company and a brief respite for everything else thats been going on around you.

Thanks @Zoe7 @Former-Member 🌷

She’s not staying with us .... can’t fit and doesn’t work with hubby’s regimen ..... but she is staying nearby, and yes @Former-Member , very welcome.

Re: Far and Away

@Shaz51 Another bust day for you tomorrow so the rest day on Sunday will be a welcome relief I have fence palings to cut, planning and this cold to get over. I got some more help with that from the chemist so I may be feeling like a walking pharmacy today but if it helps that is good.

@Faith-and-Hope Do you have things planned to do together or are you just going to take it as it comes?

Re: Far and Away

We have a few loose plans @Zoe7 , but I have to keep to my commitments as well, so some of it will just be hanging out together doing “normal” stuff. Will try to fit in markets and things tho.

Re: Far and Away

"Normal" is just what you need @Faith-and-Hope ...and then to get some markets in there too will be a lovely weekend. Having someone to hang out with will also be wonderful for you - and if you can getnsome sleep again tonight then you are winning Hon Really happy for you that your cousing has come for a visit
