Any good churches to visit there? Did you go this morning? Love ancient architecture and history. Churches are great for it. Hugz xox

Re: Far and Away

I would have to say very tired @oceangirl, and a bit numb. I might have to catch up with you again tomorrow. I have some prep to do for uni classes before I can go to bed.

Re: Far and Away

@Faith-and-HopeI hope you have a good night sleep and I will catch up with you sometime tomorrow. I have picked up a bit over the last few days. I will be away from Wednesday until Monday or Tuesday next week but I will still be logging in everyday. I am sorry you're feeling numb. Talk to you soon xo

Re: Far and Away

@Faith-and-Hope I hope you managed to get everything done you needed before uni today and also got some sleep. It has been a big weekend for you and that certainly takes its toll especially with lack of sleep too.

I have a funny story for you ...this morning I woke to find pompoms and wool spread throughout the hallway. I left the bag with them in it by the door so I wouldn't forget it and my little babies had a great time last night playing with them. It must have been both of them as I found both dog and cat fur in amongst all the wool ...little buggers!!!!

That was the beginning of a rather stressful day - the kids were off the show today and we had an incident between my trickier girl and boy. Both were in tears before lunch - with my boy running off for a while. I kept him with me at lunchtime as he didn't want to go outside ...which was good because he was still pretty upset. I got him settled down and out for a few minutes (so I could have a break) and he was okay in the afternoon. Spoke to both their parents after school and it all seems to be sorted now - a new day tomorrow so we start fresh again!

Really glad to be home this afternoon but have more pompoms to finish for the kids. We need them all done by Wednesday so I can take photos and put them into a powerpoint presentation for assembly Friday. So much to do still but gradually getting there.

Having a break now - will have an early dinner and then get back to it tonight. Hope your day has been better and you managed to get through okay.

Re: Far and Away

haha your pets have a mind of their own @Zoe7

Reminds me of how my dog used to jump on the couch in the living room when we all went to bed. He'd quickly jump off when he heard us coming. He knew he'd get in trouble lol.

I am okay thanks. Posted on my thread just now re update.

Hope you are good this afternoon/evening

Re: Far and Away

lol Love that your dog used to do that @MDT I have noticed Cat sleeping on the couch during the day while Toby sleeps on his pillow in the spare room. It becomes Toby's territory again when I get home though and Cat retreats to her room, her cave or in front of the heater

Re: Far and Away

Very much doing that this afternoon @Shaz51 I got out for 10,minutes at lunch time and went for a drive - that helped. Then came home as soon as I had everything cleaned up in the classroom. Will need to go in early but also have some time off tomorrow so should be able to get a bit done then. On a positive note - the kids are loving making pompoms - one came to school today with one she had made over the weekend

How are you and Mr Shaz today?

busy day while the sun is shinning @Zoe7

2 hour cleaning job , then mr shaz went to mow and i did some gardening at mum`s

than we had later lunch and then mowed 3 more lawns

thinking about what to cook for dinner

Mum had a big talk and wants me to cut back and stop work as it is no good for all the physical problems i have

Love too but hard to do !!!

Re: Far and Away

Well, that was a mixed bag of a day @Zoe7 ..... sounds like a group hug might be in order ......

I am feeling very tired today, and definitely short on sleep over the weekend so hopefully an earlyish night, but I also got hardly any uni work done overnight, so need to see to that now. In any case, it will be somewhat peaceful. Only D3 and me here for now.

Re: Far and Away

@Shaz51 It is hard to cut back - especially when it comes to an income coming in. You also do a lot for your Mum - are there more supports you can put in place for her that would lessen your workload there ...surely if she thinks you should be cutting back on work that she could see how stressful it is for you doing so much for her too?
