Yes, I see that thinking about past hurts regarding mum doesn’t mean anything now.

I know that if she passed away I would feel so guilty for letting the hurts come before trying to be there for mum.

I know she always meant well, even though so many things were wrong and hurtful. She didn’t know how to cope with me having CPTSD who caused it etc etc etc. That doesn’t matter now. I know she loves me and did her best.

I just wish I could rescue her. She so much wants to get out of the nursing home. It’s so devastating to not be able to take her home. I will ring the nursing home and chat with them, I think. Not sure. I’m not good on the phone.

Thankyou again for taking the time to be there for me, despite your own struggles. It’s good to have someone to chat to that understands.

As you know, I don’t have anyone to talk to here. I don’t want to burden D too much. I do tell her what’s going on, but I need to show her I’m coping, even though I’m not.

@Former-Member What you do now in regards to your Mum is all that is important Hon. You cannot change the past but you can now have as much time with your Mum as you can manage. It will not be easy with her not always recognising it is you but you will know you have spent precious time with her and that matters.

As for the time we all have here for you Hon that is not a problem at all - we do that becuse we want to and you are important to us - so reach out for that support when you need - it is so hard being so alone in all this for you so any support we can offer we are happy to give. @Faith-and-Hope Hope you got a lot done last night and can spend today on your competition piece. I had an up and down night but can get another couple of hours sleep this morning hopefully. My plan to go out this morning to get all the shopping done and bills paid might need to be put off until later today as I didn't get everything done last night I had intended to. The priority is getting the wool for tomorrow and cutting up the cardboard circles for the kids to use for the pompoms. I need to move some boxes to get to the fury material as well )of course it is in the middle of the room surrounded by all the other boxes ) so that will take some time.

Really happy about the possibility of getting the fence palings this week. As soon as I know I can collect them I can plan with the kids a couple of designs and they can choose between them. I will keep them quite simple so it is easy for me to cut the palings but having a couple of options will be nice for the kids. It will be a lot of work for me but the kids are really excited about making them so that will be reward for effort.

I managed a little more homework, but things were a bit chaotic here last night. We had to “clean up for the cleaners” as in put everything away that they won’t lnow where to put, and then I would have constant interruptions.

I look forward to hearing all about the birdhouse escapades .....

I have to dash out and get a few things before the cleaners are here.

Sounds lie a busy night last night and certainly not what you had planned @Faith-and-Hope Hope you can catch up a bit today as well as do your competition piece.

Fell asleep on the couch for a while but still very tired so will try to get a bit more sleep shortly. Am putting off doing everything I need to do until this sfternoon. Prioritising paying the bills, getting the wool and cutting out the cardbord circles for tomorrow snd the rest can wait until tomorrow after work or the weekend.

Hope you are not too put out by the cleaner and tradesman today Hon - just do what you need to do to feel okay about them being in your space

The cleaners are here @Zoe7 . A husband and wife team, and they are lovely people, which is comfortable. I have cordoned off my work zones, so they won’t touch those (last-minute cleanup of those is normal to what I do, so no biggie .....
