Far and Away

@Faith-and-Hope Hope you have gotten the photos you need Hon and your assignment is coming along. I am off to bed - need to try to get up early to finish off some marking - can't concentrate on that tonight. I have finished the planning for tomorrow with an outline I needed to do for the kids - so that is one major thing out of the way. Will need to re-arrange their Maths groups tomorrow but have time off during the morning to do that.

As usual I probably won't check in in the morning and will be home quite late so whilst I won't be able to post I will still get emails - and always love receiving them during the day.

Got dressed up to go out, but ended up hiding at home again. Oh well.

Oh, I did just make myself go for a walk, so I don’t feel completely useless.

I am disappointed that I can’t visit my mother in the nursing home, because I’m terrified of bumping into siblings and their families. 😫😢

Feel so guilty. I need prn to visit. But have just had approximately 5 days break from them and it would be disappointing to start taking them again.

I will have to eventually though, because I can’t stand the guilt of not visiting her.

It has been a non-productive day, workwise @Former-Member , but I had some time with S2 and D3 this afternoon.

Focusing hard on self-care this week, because things are coming to a turning point, although there have been, and will probably be, many more of these to get through 😔.

Mr. and D2 headed off today, so we are fewer here for now, and that feels like a very helpful space at the moment.

Sitting down to homework now, and toying with ideas for an art competition I want to enter - part of keeping as distracted as possible from very tough-to-cope-with feelings.
