Far and Away

Just resting up for a while before I get dinner organised too @Shaz51 I like this time after work because I have my snuggle buddy next to me and can chat here for a while - it is relaxing Will get into the work after dinner.

I had one of my boys sitting next to my legs today while we were going through their work - it was like having Toby so close to me on the couch - I told the boy that and he smiled. He is my 'difficult' boy but I have a huge soft spot for him. He is funny because he loves handwriting and said he could do that all day - at least I know how to keep him occupied when he starts getting off track - just tell him to do more of his handwriting book lol

you know I looked after those boys and they were wonderful , just needed to be guilded , that`s all xxxx

Just a quick fly-by because I have assignment work to do before I go home, and there has been a major drama I have to deal with when I get there ...... just going to take one step at a time.

Both classes went well today @Zoe7 , and one of them was setting up to do this assignment, so uni is on track at least.

I really only have 2 kids that have 'difficult' behaviour in the class @Shaz51 - my boy I just talked about and a girl with an horrendous trauma background. Both are lovely kids though and just need a little extra support. The class as a whole can be quite noisey but they are beginning to rein that in a bit - has taken some readjustment for all of us.

You are so right - it really does take care and letting these kids know they are worthwhile little humans to make a difference. I can so see how important your love and time would have been for those boys - no doubt you made a difference in their lives

Oh @Faith-and-Hope not something you needed tonight Hon Hope it all gets sorted out for you quickly and you can find some time for yourself. Goodluck with the assignment - glad to hear uni is at least on track. Didn't let the kids do drawing after lunch today - they had to read silently instead - so no 'losing focus' and then being little ratbags - learnt my lesson Friday afternoon ...but still have the peacock drawing video up my sleeve for later as a reward - so of course thinking about you with that one.

Firstly thank you to each of you for your kindness and understanding, despite me having been pretty quiet for a while now. And yet you dont forget me ... thats so nice of you all. I appreciate each of you so very much. I'm sorry I cannot seem to make myself be here more than I have been, especially since I know many of you are going through a particularly difficult time too. I do try, but my head just isnt in the right space for the time being. I think of you all every day however, and I am reading your posts as I feel able to. Just know I am thinking of you and wishing you the very best, even when there is no immediate evidence that I'm around.

@Zoe7 It makes a difference, finding strengths and interests and working to the strength, rather than punishing by removing a favoured productive activity.

Whether you can be here by your presence or in spirit @Former-Member you are always with us Hon - and very much care about and loved by us all. It is great when you can pop in but there is no need to place any expectations on yourself at all. We know you are doing it really tough and want to support you - and if that is best ndone by sending you messages that you can read along with then that is whatn we will do. I personally love having you around but also know how hard that can be when the world around us is not ideal. Very much thinking of you - often - and super happym for the occasional check-in when you can manage it. Love and hugs always

Yes @Appleblossom we work to their strengths and they return that in kind - usually with a smile - after all the best day is one that you are happy in and if the kids feel that throughout the day and go home happy then that is all we can do.
