That was a lovely story on the other thread about the lady on the plane @oceangirl . It’s funny how a particular turn of phrase can cause instant connections between moments in life, isn’t it ? And that was a really positive one.

How are you doing @Zoe7 ? I saw you drop supports on the other thread too. I hope you’re sleeping now, and I shouldn’t stay up much longer either, in the interests of trying to reset my body clock.

Still a bit wobbly on the runway, but the kids and I are getting up and going again. S2 still not engaging with the new semester, but he has given himself the week to get his act together and speak to his head of course re new timetable etc .....

Mr is not due back till Sunday, which might be part of the slow start-up ..... we have got breathing space before the cyclone is here.

Today is my first day back at lectures and studio, and as my sleep patterns are not yet back online properly, I expect I will be very tired at the end of it, but maybe that is what I need, to be able to crash early in the evening and sleep long to reset ..... see how I go.

Another restless night for me too @Faith-and-Hope so very much hearing you on the sleep front. Hoping the longer day for you today helps with sleep tonight.

Not doing so great but having the giraffe to do is helping with keeping me occupied.

I need to go out today to do a little shopping and get petrol so that will at least get me out of the house for a little while - which my be a good thing. I also need to book Cat into the vet as she is not herself over the last week - she doesn't come out and ask for her food so that is a sign to me that she is not well. She didn't even eat her biscuits last night even after I put them in her room for her. She ate her breakfast but I had to call her to come out. I am worried about her as this has been going on for about a week now. Thankfully the vet will let me pay later as I haven't been paid for all the extra days I did at work and can't sort that out until after the holidays. I was relying on that money to take both my babies to the vet for their annual checkups so I will now need to just take Cat in and wait to take Toby until later in the month.
