A challenge I would think 😕 Hope this is a time yo rekindle some first love maybe.
Any good churches to visit there? Did you go this morning? Love ancient architecture and history. Churches are great for it. Hugz xox

Good Night @Former-Member

Good Night @Zoe7

Life Size is cool

Yes I ws thinking of your baby elephant outside, when I mentioned chicken wire, tho I could not remember exacly which ..

Yes, some things are best parked up for a while ... as F&H likes to say ..

@Sans911 those pics are so beautiful

@Zoe7

We can use symbols like Sans' Flutterby, in a range of ways. You are not a real butterfly, but fragile and beuatiful. A chrysalis would be such a good place to hang out for a while.

Hearing you, that you may be tempted to put a negative lens on decision making.

I sometimes think I should leave the forum. That I have spent too much time here.

Not so much embarrassed but uncertain and confused.

Good Night @outlander

Re: Far and Away

Good morning to all here, especially you @Zoe7 You've been on my mind this morning. Perhaps a dragonfly would be a better analogy :

It is said to represent transformation - in it's lifecycle it starts it's life under water and when it emerges from the water into the air above it never returns to the water. This is what I wish for you.

"This aspect of its life symbolizes transformation and renewal, and is even associated with spiritual renewal and self realization. In Native American legends, the dragonfly is a symbol of resurrection, and renewal after hardship. The dragonfly is a carefree insect that symbolizes free spirit, swiftness, and activity."

@Appleblossom thinking of you too and sending clarity. I very much appreciate your presence on the forums and I'm sure I'm not alone in that.

@Faith-and-Hope wondering when it is that you head off? - I'm guessing you will be out of the country again. You will be missed.

Re: Far and Away

Trying @eth ..... but everything is a cyclone around my mr. He jam-packs things together, and because we are a (somewhat wonky) family unit of adults, majority agreements tend to rule, and he has lawyer-like persuasion to achieve things he thinks are best. Sometimes majority vote goes “my” way, if there is validity and logic to it that our baby dragons relate to, but they also have his genes and better u derstand his thinking and methodology.

To fit an os trip into the uni year means trying to take as much time away as possible, which has turned the end of semester into a crush .... a few missed classes, submissions by proxy, packing thrown together, fly-by stop-in for a special event for one of the dragons on our way to hop-skip-jump on a plane ......

We are travelling with mil who is constantly pot-stirring and monopolising / attachment issues with mr. Other highly energetic extended family joining us there .....

I hope that is not too complex an answer. I can’t think too much about it or my head starts spinning. It’s like living in a cyclone ..... but it’s doable if I take it one step at a time.

Doable but exhausting. I find my own time-outs amidst it. It will be somewhat relaxing to get back to uni.

Re: Far and Away

Hey @Faith-and-Hope I can see at least a few major challenges for you in making it all happen. Go you for managing uni on top of everything else. If anyone can do it you can. You never cease to impress me. Best wishes for as smooth a week as possible.
