Hey @Faith-and-Hope Dad is still not well. They ended up keeping him in overnight and he didn't leave until later today. Mum is still not well either but the scans ruled out anything too serious - which is what we were all imaging. She has a condition that needs to be managed but is not life threatening. Hopefully with a few days rest and antibiotics Dad will pick up a little but the operation and reaction to anaesthetic has really knocked him around.

I slept last night and it helped me get through today. Back to not wanting to sleep again tonight but there is nothing I can do about that - it is what it is ...thankfully it is the weekend so I just need to get through tonight the best I can.

Yes, I am glad it’s the weekend too. I am tired, but not too bad. Considering everything that has been going on, I am in better shape than I expected to be .... so I will work with that. We are counting down now to the end of semester, and I am working through what needs to be completed yet. I am actually very grateful that they have staggered submission dates in our course ..... at first a bit confused why everything wasn’t due in the last week, but this way the tutors get marking time, and we don’t get everything piled up into a last-minute heap. It’s quite clever really .....
