Been thinking of you and your baby dragon too Hon - hope you both are doing okay. I am feeling okay tonight just couldn't sleep so rather than get worked up about it and have those usual thoughts and feelings got up instead. Going to try again in a few minutes but glad to have jumped on here and seen you tonight @Faith-and-Hope

How long will your bd be in hospital?

Another day or two I think @Zoe7 . We will find out progressively.

I try to sleep but if I am feeling angry, anxious or upset, I prefer to get up and do something for a while .... often coming on here. It’s times like that when finding forum company can really help to settle me down enough to try again after a while. I keep a soft light on and often wake up on Chair Island if that is where I curled up, having dozed off.

She is so blessed to have you there with her through all this @Faith-and-Hope and I suspect it is good for you to be close to her too Hope you get your assignemnts done while you wait there too - even if it is bit by bit.

Probably will sleep on couch island tonight myself - Toby is of course following me wherever I go so is sound asleep next to me. My eyes are saying sleep but my body is not following so far - will try again soon though ...grateful that there is no work tomorrow.

My sister wants me to head to the market with her but she is leaving early - she also only wants me to go if I am okay in the morning ...not looking likely at this point in time

Try to take deep steady breaths @Zoe7 ..... it can help to slow the pace that your mind and body are trying to maintain ..... and someone once said to me, “relax your eyeballs” ..... it still makes me laugh ..... if you work out how to do that, please let me know ❣️

lol @Faith-and-Hope Eyeballs are relaxed - just the rest of me that seems to be in energiser bunny mode ...gonna try again so will say goodnight and hope for the best.

@Former-Member I really hope you can find accommodation quickly. That really sucks that you can't extend your stay at the current place ...and into the weekend will no doubt make it harder. It is not what you needed but it is good that hubby is having more tests for them to find out what is going on.

@Faith-and-Hope Goodmorning Hon. Hope you weren't up too late but also hoping you got a fair bit of your assignments done and then some sleep. I eventually got to sleep when I went to bed again last night but up super early again. Going to get organised soon to go with my sister to the market. It is her birthday next week so I might get an idea of something she would like while browsing around the market.
