Hey @Faith-and-Hope I hope you got some sleep last night and feel a little more alive today. I did sleep a little longer last night but as expected was very tired today. I got through the day okay though - Thursdays are usually pretty busy with a couple of duties as well as a lot of switching between classes so it makes it go a bit quicker.

Cat and Toby cuddles incoming for you - it is raining here so they are inside and extra snuggly. 😺🐶

Both of those things are really important @Faith-and-Hope It is great that you are getting heaps of work done - must be lovely knowing you don't have those extra pressures and walking on eggshells for a more than a few days. I am really happy that you are taking time out as well - super important to do that. Hoping tonight you get some more restful sleep as well - I am hoping for the same for me. I did sleep longer last night but still not enough. Tonight I will take meds earlier than last night and see if that helps to sleep earlier as well. I didn't ask about whether they have someone for the Friday class today - too busy to even think about it but will do that tomorrow. I also found out today that there will be a 1/2 position for next term so going to throw my hat into the ring for that too. I am not used to those grades but have done a lot of work in the class and know the kids pretty well - the other teachers in the grade 1/2 team would no doubt help me as well - might not be an option because there is another teacher there that takes one of the classes one day a week and then the other on another day - she may be preferred but I can only ask.

thanks for you thoughts on vounteering Zoe, your'e right it's still a good thing to cook lunch for people who need it and I do get nice positive feedback on my cooking so that's nice.

I went out for dinner with friends last night & had such a nice time, it puts things in perspective to have some supportive company irl! aiming to hike tomorrow.
