A challenge I would think 😕 Hope this is a time yo rekindle some first love maybe.
Any good churches to visit there? Did you go this morning? Love ancient architecture and history. Churches are great for it. Hugz xox

HI everyone 👋💕

Sorry to heat that your headache has persisted too @Zoe7 . As @Former-Member said, I hope it’s an easy day for you with lots of rest moments in it, and hopefully a rest day again tomorrow ?

Thank you @Former-Member . Hoping today is one where you have some self-care moments. Thinking of you often and gently.

@Shaz51 oh no ...... it’s such a helpless feeling to see these things coming and all you can do is be there. Take care of you too ......

Re: Far and Away

oh @Zoe7 so sorry to hear you've had a nasty headache. I get them sometimes & it is truly awful. Hope the painkillers helped today at work, you're very brave to get in there and work. I hope you are ok right now, sending you good vibes.

hi @Shaz51 that's so hard that mr. shaz is unwell. You're such a strong person to support him. my brother is very unwell overseas & it has triggered my own MI so much that I have to take a break from him. You look after yourself and your ankle Shaz, you're a wonderful person.

hi @Faith-and-Hope wow it sounds like your skills and mind are expanding! I'm trying to get library work and technology skills is my big flaw, I find it really hard so I'm well impressed you're forging ahead with it

Hi @Bimby2 👋 💕

Thank you for your well-wishes, and all the best for your day 🌷

@BryanaCamp maybe some community based short courses are available ? TAFE maybe ? Computer technology has really frustrated me at times, so learning how a computer “thinks” is really helpful in a way I think I hadn’t anticipated. Our course is art-based, so the technological learning is in support of that ..... but can now be more generally applied. It is enabling other areas of my life by default.

Hi @Faith-and-Hope @BryanaCamp @Shaz51 @Former-Member Made it through the day with the help from pain meds but left as soon as I could. There was an after school get together for one of the teachers that is retiring but I didn't stay for that - said my goodbyes and snuck out to come home and rest.

I have DBT and GP tomorrow but will decide about DBT in the morning - very much depends on how I am feeling when I wake up. I will make it to my GP though as I haven't seen her for a few weeks.

Sending you all hugs and some happy vibes - think we all need those today

Re: Far and Away

Good going @Zoe7 . I probably would have been torn about social obligation and appearing to be nice but it is a strength that you put you first & excused yourself early, good onya.

Your GP sounds like a big emotional support to you so it's probably good if you can see her. The DBT, thought you'd given that up? I am the worst person to chime in on this as I hate group therapy, it only makes me enraged but you seem to get a lot more out of DBT groupwork than I would - is it missable for you emotional well-being?

Re: Far and Away

DBT is missable tomorrow and I will be staying home if I am not better in the morning @BryanaCamp We have a really nice and supportive group for DBT so that makes it so much easier to want to go. I was going to stop after the last module but both the facilitator and my pdoc thought this module would be good for me to end on - I had a few 'down' weeks and they didn't think it was wise to end just yet without that extra support. This will definitely be my last module though - it will mean I have done all the modules twice.

Hi @Zoe7 👋 🌷💕

I am glad you sneaked away for some self-care time.

Re: Far and Away

It was okay @Zoe7 , but still messy ..... there is just so much information that it is hard to know what to do with in the getting-to-know-you realm. I’m thinking that I speak quite matter-of-factly about things that are a bit shocking, because I am so used to them, or so over them.
