We had a “moment” or two in the way tot he photo shoot @Zoe7 , but when we got where we were going Visual settled in and behaved herself ..... she was really patient, and a beautiful model for me 😊👍

It is great that Visual was so patient with you and lovely that she was a beautiful model for you @Faith-and-Hope Even better that you got the photos you needed and it all worked out for you.

I have to head out soon to go to my sister's place - her partner is having a clean out and wants me to see which tools I need. There are still some from the garage flooding that I need to replace so he might have some I can use - will save me buying them to replace my damaged ones.

Hi @Shaz51 I had to fast (nil by mouth) for 7 days in hospital, with only a saline drip (no nutrition).

Then only liquids, for about a day - then they gave me food! Oh Gee, food...

So I've been eating for about 3 & 1/2 weeks now.

Hard to find the apetite, though - I often feel too tired to eat much, or a bit nauseous.

Yes hopefully there are things that I need and what he has is in good working order @Faith-and-Hope I know he doesn't tend to take very good care of things in general but hoping his tools are a different story.

I will take Toby for a drive with me but he may have to stay inside with my sister as last time he was outside he ended up wandering up to the road. I can't trust him to stay in the backyard if I don't have my eyes on him 100% of the time - they don't have a fence or any gates that could keep him in.

Yes @Adge , mum was the same , but she found she could only eat little bits , maybe eating small portions often

and also she found that certain food upset her stomach

When I eat a larger portion (still not very large) all at once - it still has sudden effects on me.

I have to run to the toilet in a hurry.

This has only been since my Reversal surgery (almost 4 years ago), when I had my bowels re-connected, & got rid of the stoma & the bag.

It left me with Irritable Bowel Syndrome, which causes inconsistency.

Unlike your Mum, I'm not aware of any particular foods that make it worse.

It's more a case of not eating too much at once (with me).

@Faith-and-Hope @Shaz51 @Adge Been to my sister's place and looked at what her partner is getting rid of. There are a couple of things I can make good use of so he is going to bring them around tomorrow. I spent a little time playing with their dog which always gets Toby a little jealous but he got plenty of pats from my sister.

Home now and feeling very tired but am going to do a little housework and then settle in to watch the footy for the evening.

I hope you have all had a little rest this afternoon and have a quiet night planned.
