Thanks so much @Snowie - the cold is finally starting to shift. I knew I was overdoing it, but my year’s work would have been wasted if I didn’t get myself across a couple of finish lines.

@Appleblossom it’s good to visualise how to reduce someone in your imagination / memory / environment. I often imagine myself as a “peaceful warrior”, shield raised against someone who is invasive in whatever way.

I have been away at a music festival with day and night on the train .. or a bus replacement. It can be great watching the eucalypts and bush flow past in the windows...

Thanks @Eve7 it was 6 days of festival and 24 hours train travel each way. Its a pretty special environment and culture and community Some people drive, and take a few days, but I feel safer going by public transport. I have done it about 6 times, so slowly there are familiar friendly faces. It has really helped reduce my isolation, which was extreme at the time I joined the forum. I have come a long way. since then. Hope you are doing well.

There is so much to sort out in packing boxes that I feel like I am wading through a swamp, but taking on the swamp is the only way I am gonna get to the other side of it all.

A week and a half left of the holidays and I cannot believe how quickly it has gone. I have been doing a lot outside but a little restricted by not being able to afford some things I need as well as trying to look after my back. It is a little frustrating but it is what it is. There is nothing that cannot wait (I have already put a couple of things on my list on the backburner for another holidays).

@Snowie Need to go into school to sort out the classroom as I moved rooms for this year. Problem is I deleted the message to know when someone will be at school so waiting for that to be resent to find out when I can go in. No drama though - have a bit of time over the first 3 student free days so can get things done then if need be.
