Dad is at his home again. I am worried about him being in his own, but he is fiercely independent. We will just have to see how he goes. A neighbour with a key looked in on him this morning and he was sleeping soundly 👍🙏

It's hard when they are so independent @Faith-and-Hope I am glad he has neighbours around him who can look in on him. Hopefully that makes you worry just a little bit less.

Being concerned is very understandable, however that fierce independence sounds like a very strong determination to be there at home where life is familiar, for your dad🙂🌺

it’s great there is someone close by to look in - and also very reassuring that your dad was sleeping 🙂🌺

@Snowie Holidays now and very much needed Hon. As is usually the case - sick to begin holidays. We have had heaps of kids away this week with illnesses so I am not surprised I too am now unwell. Mum visited today and I nearly fell asleep whilst she was here 😒Slept most of the afternoon after she left and do not plan on doing much different for the next couple of days.

@Faith-and-Hope No doubt you are worried about your Dad hon but it is nice to know you have a caring neighbour to follow up for you.

Sorry to hear that you are sick @Zoe7 Not a nice way to start your holidays. Hopefully it doesn't last for too long. At least you can just rest at home and don't have to worry about doing much at this stage.

So easy to catch things from students, especially from little one's. They don't really know boundaries.

S is back at school Monday so back to school runs.
