Any good churches to visit there? Did you go this morning? Love ancient architecture and history. Churches are great for it. Hugz xox

Re: Far and Away

@Faith-and-Hope @Snowie @Eve7 @Shaz51 Was out early this morning to vote (state election today) then into the city for a quick trip. Have slept most of the day since then so of course have not got anything done but I needed sleep more today. Hopefully I will be able to get some work done this evening and will be able to finish some things tomorrow. Prioritising what needs to be done now and what can wait for during the week but I also have meetings or appointments every day after school this week so that is going to be tough - looking forward to the Easter break to catch up again.

Re: Far and Away

You certainly must have needed the sleep @Zoe7

Hope you get what you want done.

Re: Far and Away

I feel so tired lately @Snowie but I do think a lot of it is the lack of physical things I have been able to do over the last 6 months with pain levels and restrictions. I have lost a lot of muscle tone so even the simple things like mowing the yard takes a big effort. It is going to take time to get back to a level where those things will be easy again so I need to be patient.

Sitting or standing for too long is still an issue also so work is hard. I am beginning to be able to do those things for a little longer but by the time I am home I need to lay down for a bit before I do anything else. I used to be able to come home, do a little housework and a few things around the house but I can't do that now so it gets a little frustrating at times. It is what it is though and I know it will get better - just not right now.

Re: Far and Away

I hope with time @Zoe7 that you can get back to where you were. It would so much easier if we could just flick a switch. Unfortunately life doesn't work that way.

Re: Far and Away

No it doesn't Hon 😒 I feel like I was when I was really unwell and that is not a good place to be @Snowie On the positive side though I know I can fight my way back - it is just going to take time and a lot of work again. I have a couple of extra weeks off next term as I have taken LSL. I don't feel like I had a break over the Summer holidays with all the Worker's Comp stuff so it wil be good to have that complete break as well as catch up on everything for work.

Re: Far and Away

That fight you have within yourself @Zoe7 you should be proud of it.

It is great that you have taken some LSL. Hopefully that really helps you in your recovery.

I know how much you take home with you and do at night and on the weekends.
