Don't sell yourself short @Shaz51 You are my amazing sister here and I and others love what you contribute - you are very special yourself.

Just because @Faith-and-Hope and I share a special relationship does ot mean that others are any less important to us both - I think I can speak for her on that too

I love having you here with us and I am sure that F&H misses you a lot too.

Theres so much in that last longer post of yours that I can relate to @Zoe7. It's all very new to me too and I'm still working through lots of those things, though in the six months friend and I have been doing our thing, I can see we've come pretty far with it.

Curious to know what it is you're hoping from this compared to what he is (though I get that you might not want to/can share that). That's been a big push/pull one for friend and I even though I too was pretty open about what I was looking for too. It's good that you've had that kind of chat early.

@Shaz51 you bring a lot to us here and seeing you flying around always full of love and warmth, feels so good ❤

I think he is genuinely looking for love @CheerBear and I am more looking for friendship - and what can grow out of that does. I think I am more open to whatever this is because he sees that I am a bit reluctant but still willing to see how it all pans out - I feel a bit like a teenager again if truth be know but also know I have a long history of being 'let-down' and that is certainly playing on my mind. But going into this with my eyes wide open and in a much better position (I think) to state what my needs are and be confident to do so.

Even though it's maybe a little different @Zoe7, those things you both are looking for might be pretty similar too, or at least well aligned. Friendship is a great place to start 😊

I think it's pretty natural to feel a bit teenagerish. It's a great feeling I think. It's like bubbles of hope and excitement (to me anyway!)

Absolutely love hearing that you're in a better position to state those needs and be confident about it! That will definitely help you navigate all of this. You're doing so well!
