A challenge I would think 😕 Hope this is a time yo rekindle some first love maybe.
Any good churches to visit there? Did you go this morning? Love ancient architecture and history. Churches are great for it. Hugz xox

I have to wait for what I need to be in stock @Snowie Not sure when that will be - they could not tell me for certain - so I may have to have several visits lol I actually need to take the trailer to pick those things up so I need to know they are back in stock first (takes a bit for me to hook up the trailer at the moment so don't want to have to do it more than needed).

Clover has been doing zoomies the past few minutes - Toby chased her the first time but now is laying next to me and looking at me as if to say "what is my silly sister doing" lol - they are soo cute.

Morning all @Faith-and-Hope @Snowie @Shaz51 @Eve7 @Zoe7 @TAB and thanks for the tags ♥

I too have been enjoying the tennis and also the cricket. 😄

On the other hand, I am not all that keen on Bunnings shopping. Or any shopping at all really. I may need to review that now though. I finally have a puppy 🐶🎉 and I know they are welcome at Bunnings.

Anyway she is 10 weeks old, a very energetic, loving and intelligent little sweetheart. But also a bit naughty. She is a puppy 😂

I got her on Monday. Very much a handful at this age with house training etc. But she has settled in without a backward glance. Very much at home from day one. I have named her Hannah and she is the most beautiful little girl ever.

So my heart is full and my days are busy once again ♥

Re: MoRe: Far and Away

That is the best news @Emelia8 🐶💕 Such a gorgeous name too. You absolutely need to become a Bunnings buddy - you can sit her in the top of the trolley and wander around with her. I put Toby's blanket in and he sits there calmly (until he gets pats from everyone lol). What type of dog is she?

Re: MoRe: Far and Away

I hope they get the stock in soon @Zoe7 I don't think you need an excuse to go to bunnings!!

I will tow the trailer, but just suck at reversing it.

Izzy is laying in the sun at the moment. I don't know how they have so much energy.

I'm sure they are loving having you home more often.

OH @Emelia8 I am so happy for you. I hope she brings so much joy to your life. I'm sure she is so loved already. She certainly will keep you on your toes!

Re: Far and Away

No I don't need an excuse to go to Bunnings @Snowie LOL I am watching my money very carefully though so only getting what I need - and using my gift cards wisely. My Mum has more gift cards if I need them - she has been very generous already 💕 I also got gift cards from my sister for both my birthday and christmas so I have had a bit to use ...very handy to stock up on pavers and do a bit at once. I am being very careful but it has also been frustrating not being able to do more knowing I have the pavers to do more but can't physically do it - gotta let that go though - need to look after myself hey.

Re: Far and Away

Sounds like your family know you well @Zoe7 with all the bunnings gift cards!!

Even though you want to get things done you do have to look after yourself first. Pavers can wait, your health cannot.

Re: Far and Away

Several years ago my Mum would say I am not giving you Bunnings gift cards @Snowie Now she knows that is what I love best and can use the most. It helps me get things done around the house and she actually loves seeing what I have done so it is good for both of us.

Yes I am still struggling with my back but I also need to be able to do some things - both to get moving a little and for my mental health. Sitting/laying around all day is not ideal for that so I have been doing just a little at a time. Some days I have overdone it a bit but I stop as soon as I can feel that. I am also trying to get through the day without pain meds so pushing that out as far as I can before needed.

Re: Far and Away

Good Morning @Emelia8 , thanks for the tag.

Hi and Good Morning @Faith-and-Hope @Snowie @Zoe7 @Eve7 @Former-Member 😊

I'm glad you got your puppy Emelia, well and a new house and well, hope you are recovering okay. Nice change here after a quick look no one moaning about the heat .. guess I havent been here for a while ... lol

Okay. Since I'm here. Quick updates. I have enrolled in cert IV 40122 in Training and Assesment. Got made to do an English bridging course to get govt subsidies. ok had to do testing to get subsidies. language literacy numeracy. aced 2/3 and was spoken to in shaken tones on the phone ,, did you do that last one yourself ? ok i thought it was stupid and spent the time on it I thought it was worth. I did see some cues. Last time I wrote a business letter was in 80s lol and the question asked for an email which to me is informal . Anyhoo , did first part of it in very busy 6 hour session a few weeks before xmas. then forgot about it for 3 weeks, and thencould barely find the site to do it on lol.

Now am at war w DES (disability employment service) 'job' provider as they refused to let me use study count towards my mutual obligation. what they said sounded like utter BS to me, well it was. basically they said No, because they can and laughlingly said go tell centrelink see what they do.

Anyway, made progress yest and looks like I will win, just a matter of how lol. course ticks boxes (they ignored that) just abuse by rank idiots because they can.

oh and get letter from lawyers re ongoing for 12 mths now thing with overseas inheritance from aunt who left no Will. A tale of chicanery, greed and desperation , and some of that on my part .. lol.. cousin who is a lawyer and was close to aunt took 1/3 of estate in fake legal fees , making estate look not worth bothering with , so my siblings at least all baled out. Last minute call by me saw me not renouncing inheritance and since the others already had, I would stand to get my fathers full share ha ha .so, her unit wchich was about all that was left is about to be sold (cheaply) and Publicly appointed Executor is going after her for her 'bill'.. so old Tabs could be getting in range of 18-46k AUD with low end unlikely. so that would come in handy as I have not been able to work due to ill health.also there was talk for decades of me getting more than others from parents when passed as I was the only one who needed it. Never happened. so stuff the lot of them, and this is my way of getting something back...

Re: Far and Away

Some people say giving gift cards an easy way out but I love them too. Then you can get exactly what you want instead of ending up with something you will never use.

I do think just lying around all day does affect our mental health @Zoe7 I guess for you it is that hard balance between resting and doing. If you can manage that balance then that makes it easier for you.

Re: Far and Away

It is ridiculous how these gov depts think they can change the rules when they want @TAB Good on you for sticking up for yourself and getting what you needed. I am still in a fight with the independent assessor - got some paperwork to do and send off but procrastinating at present - needs to be done though as this person cannot get away with making assumptions with no facts to back them up.
