Pleased to be home today - very, very sore and achy. Still waiting to hear about an appointment to get injections for my back. The longer I have to wait, the worse it is getting. Half days at work are helping but I am still so sore by the time I finish.

Thankfully I will be able to have more pain relief over the weekend and should be able to catch up on some work. The end of the year is coming fast and I have a lot to do. The funny thing is, I am doing more work for only half days - the relief teacher that takes over has nothing to do but follow my planning. Whilst that seems a bit silly, it is so we can have our normal routines and the kids therefore know what they are doing (and are not stressed by changing teachers). I have some little anxious cherubs and that certainly helps them when I am not there.

How is everyone today?

It is harder to organise the work for others @Zoe7 But I know that extra time at home is what you need. I hope you can get an appt. soon hon for the injections.

Glad to hear you are out of the hospital and surgery went well.

No surgery is good but least it's the end of the year, you have time time recover with Chrissy holidays round the corner, and you can review how the year went, the successes, and the losses.

Particularly when it comes to teaching (I am assuming you would get some time off over the summer) ?

@Melbcoffeesnob Have not been in hospital nor had any surgery - just waiting for an appointment to get the injections I need to hopefully relieve some of the pain.

Gosh on the home stretch for the year…where did that go? I had a lovely few days in Tassie last week…truly a beautiful place and even better with sunny weather.
