Spent some time with my Dad and some baby dragons, and itty-bitty dragons 😏. Under pressure with assignments again now tho.

I am so glad you had some time with your Dad and all the dragons (big and small) @Faith-and-Hope Just the medicine you needed after what has been such a horrible time of late for you. I hope you can catch up on assignments buoyed by that time with your beautiful family 💖

I wasn't going to put this here but my Dad is also in hospital. He is having heart surgery on Friday. At this stage they are hoping for a simple procedure but if that does not work then it will be open heart surgery. I was hoping to get in to see him tomorrow but I still can't tolerate light and quite shaky. I managed to get both Clover and Toby to the vet but I really should not have been driving. Luckily the vet is very close and they have been wonderful helping me out.

Just waiting a little longer to give the fur babies their biscuits and then straight to bed for me.

Sorry to hear about your Dad @Zoe7 . I hope the surgery goes well for him and it avoids open heart ❤️

@Faith-and-Hope @Snowie @Former-Member @Shaz51 @TAB Dad is home from hospital but I don't think he should have been sent home yet. I picked him up yesterday and my Mum picked him up from my place. He had to lay down as soon as he got to my place because he did not feel well so I really question them sending him home so soon. I haven't hear from either Mum or Dad so I am hoping that means they are okay. I will give them a call soon to check in.

I am still not good either but hoping with some rest today I will improve also. It was a long day of running around yesterday - which I really did not need but it had to be done.

Hi @Zoe7 after I had clots on lungs like 2 years ago now, I was bothering people to get let out last few days. Well as they kept moving goal posts oh you'll be out wednesday then realise not leaving thurs etc etc

I didnt feel too well when left in hindsight . I even told them going for short walks in hospital knocked me around a bit. Felt a bit a bit like that the other day carrying aircon 20 metres to car. nearly stopped halfway. waited over 5mins before tired 2nd one. did not feel brilliant. saw afterwards they weighed 30kg so ok was a bit silly but not too many other options.

Anyway hopefully its a quick recovery for your father; just being in bed for however long can affect you , regardless of health concerns

@Zoe7 hospitals seem to be 'get them in, get them out' these days.

I hope your Dad is ok hon.

Have had more chaos and tricky stuff to contend with in my never ending story. Staying focused on my current art project tho to steer away from stressing over it at all.
