A challenge I would think 😕 Hope this is a time yo rekindle some first love maybe.
Any good churches to visit there? Did you go this morning? Love ancient architecture and history. Churches are great for it. Hugz xox

@Zoe7 can't help but laugh at Clover!! Izzy slept pretty close to me too last night. She has a blanket she is meant to sleep on but rarely does. My fault really!

I hope you are able to catch up on some sleep today.

@Faith-and-Hope hope your coffee is nice and you don't have too much to do today.

@TAB @Former-Member @Shaz51 Wishing you all a good day

Re: Far and Away

I also had to giggle at Izzy not sleeping on her blanket @Snowie When I got Toby I said he would not sleep on the bed ...it took me less than a week to adhere to that lol He could never jump onto the bed and still doesn't. He could make it if he tried because he has jumped onto higher beds elsewhere but the routine is I pick him up and that has remained the case for his while life so far.

@Faith-and-Hope I hope you get some rest time in amongst all the running today too Hon 💖

Been working on my treehouse this morning but need to purchase a few more things and won't be able to do that until tomorrow. I will post a photo when it is finished (and then remove once you have seen it).

Re: Far and Away

Hehe @Zoe7 I really think that Izzy and Toby are part human!! They certainly ask like it. I love the part where you have to pick Toby up to put him on the bed.

I would love to see the tree house completed but understand if you cannot for privacy reasons. There is a lot I would love to post on here but cannot. I can understand why.

Re: Far and Away

I will post a pic when it is finished and both you and @Faith-and-Hope are about @Snowie so you can see it then I can take it down. I am thoroughly enjoying making it. I found some mirrored tiles yesterday so have put a little dance floor in ....tomorrow I will get a small mirror ball to hang above it. I bought one yesterday but it was too big so I will go back to the same shop tomorrow and get the smaller one.

I have a few things still to make or decorate so it might not be until next week that it is finished. I am enjoying doing a little bit at a time in between other things and resting. I might even get out my peacock painting and have that to work on too. I do have some paperwork I need to get done today so it is good to break that up as well.

Yes Toby and Izzy are definitely part human. We are very fortunate to have such beautiful, snuggly, loyal companions. I do not know what my life would have been like without Tobes - maybe would not be here now ...so not only has he been such a wonderful little buddy but also a life saver. I do not know what I will do when the day comes I no longer have him ...but not something to dwell on - just enjoy every single second I have him in my life.

Re: Far and Away

@Zoe7 sounds like you are putting so much effort and time into it. I feel privileged to be able to see what the finished product is like.

I'm not sure what I would do without Izzy too. They certainly are life savers. I just wish I could take her everywhere with me.

Re: Far and Away

I had thought about having Toby trained as an assistance/companion dog but he would not pass the first basic command ...come lol He will sit and wait for food when told to but will only come when he wants to. It is not often an issue though as he is usually right by my side @Snowie ...apart from the beach where he runs off on his own (as long as he can still see me he does what he likes).

It is a much nicer day here so far. We only got to 12 degrees yesterday but it felt colder than that even. I might mow the backyard later if the rain stays away. How about you - anything planned for the day?

Re: Far and Away

I would love Izzy to become an assistance dog @Zoe7 but I don't think she would pass all the tests they have. Come would be a problem for her too!!!

It is warmer here compared to yesterday.

I am meeting up with my brother this afternoon. It will be the first time in over 4 years of seeing him. I've written down a lot of it in the thread My special place. I will let you all know how it goes afterwards.

I hope you get the lawns mowed this afternoon. I have a bunch of ironing to do that I have been putting off. Might try and get that done.
