A challenge I would think 😕 Hope this is a time yo rekindle some first love maybe.
Any good churches to visit there? Did you go this morning? Love ancient architecture and history. Churches are great for it. Hugz xox

Re: Far and Away

I am so glad for you about the dog park @Snowie I have only ever spent 5 days away from Tobes (twice) and missed him terribly so I can only imagine what 5 weeks was like for you. Both times my sister stayed with Tobes in my home so at least I knew he would be okay around his things ...and he loves my sister although she did tell me later that he was looked for me quite a bit. We certainly are reliant on each other. Clover doesn't care how close Tobes is though - if she wants cuddles, she just walks over the top of him lol

I'm glad you haven't had to spend much time away from Tobes @Zoe7

Clover sounds like what Izzy does. If I have cuddles with Hubby, she will come and squeeze herself in between us, or sit on top of him.

They certainly know how to get all the attention!

Re: Far and Away

LOL they do @Snowie Cat could never get a look in with Tobes around - that is why I had her room closed off so I could spend time just with her and Toby did not take over her safe space. Clover though will go anywhere and do anything she likes. She has been Toby's side-kick since she came home to us ...which was actually nice because it gave me a little more time with Cat when her and Toby were chasing each other ...until of course Toby could not see me then he would be right beside me again. He does that at the beach too - he will run 50 metres up the beach away from me but will always turn around to make sure I am still there then run again. There was one day he ran over the rocks and I went another way - he was beside himself when he couldn't see me. I could still see him but he honestly did not know what to do until I came around the other side. Suffice to say he did not leave my side all the way back to the car.

@Faith-and-Hope @Snowie @Former-Member @TAB I have been making a fairy treehouse for my kids - taking a small Kmart treehouse and turning it into a fairy paradise. I told the kids I would not be able to do it until the holidays but maybe I can do a little of it tonight and tomorrow ...lots of gluing but I can sit down to do that.

They certainly bring a lot of joy to our lives @Zoe7

The fairy treehouse sounds wonderful hon. I am sure your kids will love it. I also sure they can't wait till you get back to them.

Re: Far and Away

Hey @TAB 👋

They certainly do bring us joy @Snowie Tobes has just done his early zoomies and is growling at a bird outside. He won't dare get off the couch and go outside to it because I am not there lol Now he is sooking on the floor on my feet hahaha

I have had the treehouse for a year but it was stuck in the back of my spare room. Now it is so much cleaner in there I was able to get it out. I bought two round wooden tables - the big one to put it on and the smaller one to be a garden. Once I decorate it then I can take it in and the kids can use it as a fairy or animal treehouse.

Re: Far and Away

Just tried to eat some tea @Zoe7 and failed miserably, so Izzy is close by, even though she has already been fed.

The treehouse sounds wonderful, I'm sure the kids will love whatever you do to it.
