So upset tonight @Faith-and-Hope My newly done denture is missing. I think Clover must have been on the kitchen bench and taken it. I did not close the box properly and it was open. My fear is Toby has gotten to it too and swallowed it as it was quite small (and very chewable). Did not even last 24 hours ...I am just devastated by it tonight. I have looked everywhere she could have taken it - turned the house upside down but no luck. I don't know how I am going to tell my dentist ...apart from the money it is going to cost to replace it 😥 Was looking forward to watching the NRL tonight but think I will just go to bed.

Oh no @Zoe7 😔. I am devastated for you Hon. I have said a little prayer that it will turn up somewhere for you.

I lost a special piece of jewellery last week, but it was from my “old life”, so maybe it was time it got replaced ….. I’m trying to be brave about it.

Has not turned up anywhere @Faith-and-Hope My dentist is going to order another one for me. The lovely assistant I spoke to was also devastated for me. I certainly felt a bit better about it after the conversation. I just need to find the money now. Some of it will be covered by my private health but not all of it as I will go well over my yearly limit.

I know how you feel about your special piece of jewellery Hon 😥 I am so sad for you. Whether it was from your old life or not - it is still a really sad thing to lose something that meant so much to you. I do understand that 'letting go' too though. When I had my big clean up in the holidays I finally threw out something I was given by my Nan for my 21st birthday. It was an old video recorder - not working for many, many years but I held onto it. It still feels strange to not have it but it was time. I hope your special piece turns up sweetheart - despite it being from your 'old life', I can also hear it is something you still hold dear 💖

Hi @Faith-and-Hope @Former-Member @Snowie @Shaz51 @TAB I worked all day and half the night yesterday. I have gotten a few things ticked off which is great. I am spending this morning outside whilst the sun is out as we are also expecting rain again later ...then back into work for the rest if the day. I can't sit for long though so need a lot of breaks ...and anything I can move to the couch is much more comfortable.
