F&H figuring you are dealing with fall out from ex.

My main contact with mine was brief when son finally went out with him. I said 'Summer has finally arrived' and his first response was to argue then he he thought better of it, just as well. Wrapped up with our kid's welfare, they will always be tricky waters to navigate. Our separation has had more time to settle. Take Care of Mama Bear as well as the baby dragons.

@Zoe7 Yes I have come across that in young women in my new "job", spending 5 minutes saying nothing. I am beginning to believe they must have had a fair degree of being listened to to be like that, but newish and with-holding from being too judgy till I know the individuals better. I am very conscious of time allowed to speak.

Had an ex student phone for New Year wishes and making friendly overtures, which was nice. She is older than I.

@TAB I figured what Zoe meant that it was for one of the back 2, and needed matched pairs. Had fun with a wheelbarrow last month . Not mine ... doing community work.

Sorry guys - went outside to finish cleaning up and stood up and banged my head on the end of my kayak ...so of course I have a headache now but at least it is taking my mind off my tooth 😮 @Faith-and-Hope @TAB @Appleblossom @Snowie @Shaz51

@TAB My wheelbarrow has two wheels and is quite low to the ground - so not one of the more common wheelbarrows that are higher and have one wheel. I initially bought it for the kids at my last school when we were in the christmas pageant - it was the carrier of all the water bottles ...and much enjoyment them wheeling each other around lol

@Appleblossom I switch off in meetings when people talk for the sake of talking - but say very little lol Nice of your ex student to contact you 😁

@Snowie I have completely finished tidying up both sides of the house and the garage as the expected rain has not arrived yet. Once my headache subsides I can start on the inside - I am going to have a big clean out of my spare room ...work out what I can take to school and what I can throw out. Most of it will be moved to the attic once I have the ladder in but that is not a job I can do on my own so it may be a bit of time before I can get that done. Tonight, though, I am going to have a nice long bath, some more pain meds and lay on the couch with the cricket and tennis on.

@Shaz51 Can you explain a bit more about what you mean by 'assuming'?
