I hope today is going better for you @Zoe7 You certainly have had to deal with a lot lately. Shows how much strength you have hon.

@Former-Member @Faith-and-Hope @Shaz51 @Zoe7 @tyme Wishing you all a good xmas eve. Went up the shops very early this morning and got out quickly. Avoided the rush which was good.

Had 2 hours sleep eventually @Faith-and-Hope @Former-Member @Shaz51 @Snowie @tyme Went out early to do my grocery shopping and was putting everything in the car when Dad rang ....so I brought my shopping home, unpacked what was urgent and went out again. He can't get around much with his pump so I had to do his shopping for him. He gave me no indication what to buy so it was up to me. It only took a couple of hours but I had planned on catching up on some sleep before I start again ...now not only do I not have that time but I need to make a trip to my parents to deliver the shopping to Dad. What I had planned on being a cruisy day is now way more stressful

oh dear @Zoe7 It does sound like it has become a stressful day, especially with how busy the shops are at the moment.

I don't think that is likely @Snowie but I think I will be in bed super early tonight. I am thoroughly exhausted ...to the point I am not sure I can drive to my parents' place. I may ask Dad if he can leave his gifts with me and sort them out when he gets here tomorrow. I have some washing to finish and need to mow the lawn so will see how I feel after that is done.

I hope for your sake that you can get some more sleep tonight hon. Not driving to your parents house sounds like a wise idea hon. You can only do so much until your body tells you to rest. I find the lead up to xmas so tiring. Will be glad when tomorrow is over.

I hope you have a nice day with your family tomorrow. Also hope that Tobes doesn't get into anymore treats!!

Lawn mowed @Faith-and-Hope @Snowie Now resting until the washing finishes. Once that is pegged out I can unpack the remaining groceries and begin getting out all the crockery and cutlery etc. for tomorrow to see what needs to be washed. I have a few things that were given to me by my Nan and her family so they only come out on special occasions. It is special for me too to have them all still with us in a little way.

I am not going to my parents' today - Dad will sort it all out when he gets to my place tomorrow - so that is a relief.

I have some things from my Nan that only come out for special occasions too. My Nan and Pop lost so much in a house fire years ago so I really treasure the things I have.

Hope you get a little rest hon. Just had a shower and washed my hair. Feels nice with clean hair!

@Faith-and-Hope it was a nice trip away. Loved spending so much time with the kids. D has been working non stop since we got back. She will have a nice pay packet this week!!
