Any good churches to visit there? Did you go this morning? Love ancient architecture and history. Churches are great for it. Hugz xox

Hugs my sister @Zoe7

We are finding some other plants that like not much attention

We have our slab down for our new shed

Thinking of selling our block of land where our house was but have a little problem---- the neighbours insurance built half the shed on my dad's land which is mine now

Re: Far and Away

I have done paving before @Former-Member but not in such a big scale as my backyard will eventually be. I am also laying them diagonally so need to cut some in half. I have used bigger pavers for the step and small rectangular ones for the edging but using smaller (20x20) for rest of the path. The biggest issue has been Toby LOL - I get it all levelled and then he wants to dig and roll around in it so it is definitely taking much longer than it should ...but he is so cute trying to 'help' lol

Re: Far and Away

Oh, that could be tricky @Shaz51. Do you get along with them? Maybe you could negotiate something that worked for you both??

Re: Far and Away

That is indeed an issue @Shaz51 - can you subdivide and sell them that bit of land?

Re: Far and Away

I'm glad you are looking after yourself @Zoe7 . It is so important, esp when you have to be responsible for kids all day!

Your garden project sounds incredible!

Re: Far and Away

It is an ongoing project @tyme as I can only afford to do a little at a time. Hopefully I will get some gift cards for christmas and can stock up on some more supplies. I have a plan for the whole backyard and am slowly working my way around it.

Re: Far and Away

We get along with him as long as we leave the shed alone @Former-Member. @Zoe7

Not sure whether to with or get a surveyor in xx

Re: Far and Away

Ha ha @Zoe7, you have an apprentice on your hands.... keen but not yet familiar with the foundational work. Maybe next week give him a pile to level in the corner?? I wonder if he will stay there though 🤔.

Re: Far and Away

Nah not a chance @Former-Member He has to be right next to me! When I was renovating the bathroom (cutting and knocking out part of the wall) Tobes laid on the floor and watched. When he moved there was a clean void on the floor but he was a distinctive red colour - took two baths to get him clean lol

Re: Far and Away

The insurance company should be responsible for buying the land off you @Shaz51 as it is their fault.
