No doubt there are mixed emotions @Faith-and-Hope Finishing up will give you some space to deal with other things but it also will leave a void from your studies being such a great distraction. At least you can do your own art and in a timeline that suits you ongoing for a while.

I am also snowed under but ticking some things off my list slowly. I spent a lot of time last night getting a couple of big things done ...short on sleep and not feeling good today as a result but will nap when I need and do a little more work in between.

With the longer daylight hours I have been able to do a little at a time on my paving area when I have gotten home this week. I have finally got it to a stage where it is measured out nearly ready to lay the gravel, sand and level out. It has been a great break from work.

Good to hear @Zoe7 . I have learned a lot from you, hearing about your handy-woman work 😏. Glad you can position your sleep around your work commitments as it suits you, in order to get it done. No need to mention the need to balance out your sleep cos I know you’re well schooled in it ….. happy paving when you get to it …. ❣️

That is sweet @Faith-and-Hope I do love doing all those things around the house. It is too wet today to do anymore - I need to cut out the old back step and concrete in a new one so I can pave that too but can't do that in the rain. If we get a break in it today I might try to get it started but there is no rush. It is more important this weekend that I make a big dent in the school work ...and yes Hon balancing out with catching up on sleep/rest 👍

Everyone is well, thank you @Zoe7 ….. I am alternating assignments with babysitting grandbabies and taking a break with a little of my own work. I am planning on producing a painting tomorrow if I can get another assignment finished and submitted tonight.

awww @Faith-and-Hope grandbaby time would definitely help. It sounds like you have a good balance at the moment and I love that you are planning your own painting - I hope you can get your assignment done this evening so you have the time tomorrow to work on your own piece.

I have slept most of the afternoon - snuggle time with the fur babies and a little SBS on demand in between. Now watching the AFLW ...my lions are playing. I will do some more work tonight also so tomorrow I can get outside a bit if the rain stops.

The light in my day is always fur baby snuggles @Former-Member and I have had plenty of that this afternoon in between sleep. I gave up on work earlier this afternoon as I was starting to see double - that is a clear sign I am too tired to concentrate. I will get back to it after the footy - planning on getting the first part of one more big job done tonight and the second part I will have to do at work ...need to print out some assessment tables but once that is done I should be able to tick things off pretty quickly.

Hi @Zoe7 day has been ok here - quite humid and a bit of rain around but not too bad.

I had work today - but have been making photo albums for my daughter which I am quite enjoying. . Would love to see her for my birthday next week. But she can't make it. Very 😔.

But things could be worse at least she is doing well and having fun.
