Any good churches to visit there? Did you go this morning? Love ancient architecture and history. Churches are great for it. Hugz xox

Hi @creative_writer it was a lovely day. Keep warm tonight overnight lows to be below five degrees. Spring will eventually get here 😊.

Re: Far and Away

@Faith-and-Hope I am glad you are enjoying the work you are doing but definitely hear you on the mental exhaustion. No doubt those legals are contributing so much to that but having your art to immerse yourself in is a bonus. Keep taking those little moments of joy in amongst it for yourself and let those sustain you Hon 💕

@Former-Member I was glad to be back at work to see the kids - they always give me a heart lift. I was pretty stressed today - have not made much of a dent in my work at all so need to play catch up again ...not ideal and not where I wanted to be to start the term. I do have Thursday off (public holiday in the south) so that will be spent catching up a bit more. I had some time off this afternoon whilst my kids were at specialist classes but I also had one of my little cherubs with me - she was not feeling good so I kept her with me ...it did stop me doing some of what I wanted to do but she was more important at the time - have done a little of what I had planned tonight so whilst I wanted an early night so I could go in early tomorrow at least I have a little more done.

I was wondering how your longer day on Saturday at work went? ...and still not good with the aftermath of having COVID - I do hope that begins to even out for you Hon 💕

My back is not good but manageable 👍 Had a headache today also - most likely stress related as I have been running around for days for my Dad and Mum - so work was actually a break for me today. Tomorrow will be full on - a full day of teaching, a meeting afterwards and then a function after work. I will need to rush home to feed the babies and then straight back out again. I will decide tomorrow whether I go or not - I really don't want to miss it but my health is more important at the moment.

Great job in going out to the function the other night - that is a big step for you 😁

@creative_writer Well done on getting the assignment stuff done. It doesn't always seem like it but those smaller steps are actually pretty massive.

@FloatingFeather I absolutely agree - the older we get, the quicker the time seems to go. Day one of term 4 today and I have no doubt it will be a distant memory in no time and Christmas will be here ....btw hope so - need a holiday already after the past couple of weeks with Dad etc.

Re: Far and Away

Hi @Zoe7 thank you for your response yesterday. Can't believe you can fit SANE in with so much going on in your life.

You are not only an amazing teacher but now have caring responsibilities. No wonder you get a headache.

I went ok on my full day of work. But struggled doing an end of day - 3 pages of instructions which I managed to get in the wrong order. Really LOL in the real world but nearly caused me a nervous breakdown.

As far as Covid recovery goes I feel a lot better. However could have to do with starting HRT - bloody women's health.

The only ongoing outcome of medication and Covid have been a massive weight increase I am finding hard to manage.

Holding off on swimming until energy increases again.

Anyways something we all know about weight and meds. However something not readily understood by health professionals.

Have a great day Zoe - take care and be well. Kind regards and hugs. 💕❤️💕.

PS. Thank goodness for the fur babies 😊.

Hi @Former-Member

I was interested to hear you feel better and said it could be since starting hormone therapy. I've been on it for years now (maybe 8 as I had awful perimenopause symptoms. Starting hormone therapy was a game changer. I felt sooo much better. Glad it's helped you too. And yes, bloody women's health!
