I love it all @Snowie @tyme 😁 I can't wait to get it finished and ready to go. Then I can get what I need to finish filling in the drain hole out the back and frame up for paving it. I have started to buy a handful of pavers at a time so I can easily transport them ...but with the trailer being finished I will be able to get more at a time. That will be a holidays project though as I won't be able to do it all at once with my back still not being great.

I am glad you love doing all that @Zoe7 It would save you some money too.

I remember when I was young my Dad teaching me all different things. They are good tools to have now.

its great to have the skills or be willing to learn them.

My paving is done out the back but still to finish at the front. Yep. Little bit by little bit. Not in a hurry, cos I do not want a perfect house .... ha ha. Inside crying out for a reno ...

I spent a lot of time around my Pop @Snowie and picked up some things from my Dad when I worked for him. The rest I have picked up along the way. I am also lucky to be able to read diagrams and moreso understand them - something I no doubt also picked up from my Dad. It has saved me thousands across the years. The added bonus is I love doing it all ...and it really is a great respite from other things in my life.

@Appleblossom My paving will be the same - I will do about a third of the back and leave the rest for later ...money to do it all at once is an issue but spaced out I can put a little aside at a time until I have enough to do some more. Like you, I am in no rush.

I think life skills are so needed these days. My Dad wouldn't let me drive a car until I could change the tyre, check the oil and fill up the water. No mobile phones in those days to call for help!!

I am still in isolation in my household - reading and watching DVDs.

Fortunately symptoms are starting to abate. Still must isolate till Saturday.

So pleased you are starting to feel a little better @Former-Member Only a couple more days to go and you are free!!!! Both fur babies have had their biscuits - Toby has done his crazy night time zoomies and is now snuggled up on the couch with me. Clover has wandered outside for her bug chasing lol but will be inside soon to sleep as well. All good in the Zoe house ...and sleepy time not far away for me either.

Hey @Snowie Thats pretty cool. I am not really a great handy girl, but try to manage on a necessity basis. Getting too old and physically disabled to do a lot, but being active is also important, so I space my jobs out.

@Zoe7 Am making a new fur friend. A gorgeous snowie labradoodle. Just moved in. Love and gentleness at first sight.
