Hi @Former-Member Been outside in the lovely weather for a while. My back is feeling a lot better (but that could be the meds 😉). I have been digging holes to put footings in to reinforce the back of my house. I just need to concrete them in now and then I can re-do the bottom cladding before I fill it all in. Once that is all done I can begin framing up for the pavers ...but that is not a job for this weekend. I am off to my parents' place tomorrow to help my Dad take away some rubbish. He has some issues at the moment with his feet and legs so cannot do it himself. I am thinking I may take my own trailer with the few things I also need to take to the tip and add to his - that way I can do it all at once and get some road base on the way home to finish filling the drain hole.

For now - time to rest before I go back outside a little later. Tobes is worn out from 'supervising' and Clover is asleep on my bed (so can't make it lol). I can get some of my school work sorted ready to do later whilst I am watching the rugby.

Hello @Zoe7. So pleased to hear your back is a bit better. Whatever it takes to allow us to keep working and moving. If we stop or sit for too long causes a lot of pain too right ! Hard to win sometimes. Pain can be a tiresome circle.

Im keeping busy today too been gardening, shopping and now doing some soup.

Hopefully off to the pool soon and then online training for new job tommorow.

Give Tobes a pat for me ☺️🤗.

Standing and sitting too long certainly causes more pain @Former-Member So far so good today - uncomfortable but not sharp pain as the last 2 days. I have finished the concreting, cleaned all my tools and put away and tidied up most of the backyard. I will sweep all the remaining dirt back into the hole after I feed the fur babies - then the last of the concrete will be dry. I won't get the cladding done today but I think I have done enough anyway.

You have done a lot today too. I hope you enjoy your swim and work tomorrow is a little less daunting. Going to snuggle with Tobes for a while before I feed him and Clover. I will give him a pat for you 🐶💖👍

@Faith-and-Hope @Former-Member All cleaned up outside, some of my work is organised, babies have had their biscuits and I am settling in for the evening. I won't have a lot of time tomorrow so I will need to do some more work tonight. Blindside is on tv - love that movie - so I'll have that on in the background.

The pool I used to go to was often that quiet - that is part of the reason I loved it there so much @Former-Member Such a shame their opening times are so restricted and I can no longer go.

I have been careful with my back today - moving very slowly and taking my time to do things. I think once I have helped my Dad tomorrow I will leave the rest at home until next weekend. There is no rush 👍
