Any good churches to visit there? Did you go this morning? Love ancient architecture and history. Churches are great for it. Hugz xox

Just thought about my bucket list @Faith-and-Hope and came up with no1. To visit my bedroom when it’s clean and organised 😂😝

what would be your bucket list @Former-Member?

Re: Far and Away

I can't see myself travelling but i did always want to explore Canada or even do an exchange there and work there, particularly northern Canada. I'd also like to travel through India... Not something i can ever see happening though 😄 @Teej

I'd love a clean and organised bedroom too... that might happen eventually!

Well, there’s probably six or so of them above @Teej ... lol .... and yeah, Canada .... and Tasmania ( @Zoe7 @Maggie 👋), and New Zealand ..... would love to visit The Holy Land ....

Its not the same as being there in person, but there are so many places we can “visit” via the internet.

Here’s one that it would be nearly impossible to get to irl ....

Table Top Mountans, Venezuela

Re: Far and Away

Yeah some days I think I’ve got more chance of visiting Canada @Former-Member 😜 than having my room sorted and clean.

I think my idea of beautiful places is anywhere with clean fresh air and clear water. I think that’s why I’m drawn to the artic and antartic regions. I love magestic mountains and trees too. Pretty much covers every country as I think most countries can tick that box somewhere.

Re: Far and Away

I just saw the pics @Faith-and-Hope. I was really drawn to the one of Venice. Gorgeous colours. I’ve seen that pic (or one at the same place) of Iceland before. I’m not a huge fan of castles in the sea but I do love the Mediterranean hillside villages like cinque terra.

I am attracted by water and the cold @Teej ..... might be my ancestry speaking to my heart here somewhere ....

And with that I’m going to have a warm milk drink and hope to dream of beautiful far away places. Hugs to you both @Faith-and-Hope, @Former-Member. Hoping you sleep well too 💜🤗

Re: Far and Away

The castle in the sea is a totally walled medieval city @Teej ..... that is what interests me about it .... maybe I’m into town planning at heart ..... lol ....

It is interesting to find out how these towns were put together, but most European cities were walled cities at some point ....
