You certainly are skilled in lots of ways @Zoe7 I don't think I would be digging around pipes! Hopefully you don't have to dig much further.

My day has been ok. Not much sleep last night so had a nap today. Went to physio this morning. Did something to my knee skiing. Not sure if it was just old age or an injury!!! Helped a little so going back next week.

Got all the washing dried and ironed today. Now there is another load to do!! It just doesn't seem to stop, especially with two teenagers in the house.

D is cooking tea tonight so am relaxing on the couch with the dog and my blanket. Sure is cold here.

I have to break the drainage pipe to pull out and replace so I am not worried about hitting that @Snowie I certainly did not want to replace the inlet pipes though so glad I have tracked those already and can dig around now. I have no other pipes or cables in that area so that makes it easier - just hard work getting the rocks out around the inlet pipes.

I have also washed the bathroom ceiling and am going to paint that tonight. It is a very small area so should only take an hour to tape up, cut in then roll. I will do the second coat tomorrow as it should only need 2 coats ...then all the trims to do - and they will only need one coat as I am using the same colour as is on them now.

The great thing about holidays is there is little or no ironing. I wear what can be dried, folded and put away 👍 I can only imagine just how much washing and ironing you would have with 2 teenagers 😔

I hope you set aside some 'me' time these holidays @Zoe7 to recharge for next term.

The kids went back to school yesterday so it is back to normal routine here.

Have spent most of the last 4 days asleep @Snowie and although it was because I was unwell, it has helped forget about work for a while. I plan to get most done this week so next week I can have some 'me' time ...in saying that - I count getting things done I want as me time too but more resting definitely on the agenda for next week.

You would hopefully be asleep by now @Snowie ....and I won't be far behind you. I have taped up the bathroom ceiling but the painting will have to wait - too tired and cold tonight so waiting for the electric blanket to warm the bed then I will be snuggling in with the fur babies. I was going to watch the state of origin but think I need to rest/sleep more.

Just had a couple of hours sleep @Snowie after a disagreement with the ladder 😔 Have a few bruises but I think the ladder came off worse lol That will teach the ladder to not do what it is told hahaha

Oh dear @Zoe7 I am glad you came out better then the ladder. I hope the bruises are ok hon.

Have had a bit of an eventful day. Went to look at a house this afternoon. Just have to work with the bank to see if we can get a loan for it.

Went shopping, dissociated up the shops. Made it to the bathroom where I just sat for about 30 minutes trying to get myself together. Didn't end up buying anything so back to try the supermarket tomorrow.
