How is your latest assignment going?

I have one fluffy foot warmer on the floor and the other one acting as a hot water bottle next to me 🤣

Assignment is coming along nicely @Zoe7 but I am racing the clock this whole week ….. trying not to stress and just go with it, even if my sleep ends up all over the place. Just gotta get it done.

My bratty cat came and woke me at 1:30am :face_with_rolling_eyes: - that might need some discipline if it becomes a habit …. he’s disconcerted with all the rain around at the moment, but I think he just wanted company and lots of patting. He got a bit of acknowledgement instead.

I understand just needing to get things done and doing it all when you can @Faith-and-Hope I, too, have to do the same at present to try to catch up. We have reports due in 2 weeks and I have some catching up with some kids to do in order to get their results in. One of the biggest down sides of the present climate with COVID is I have had a lot of kids away for extended periods and thus they have missed large areas of what we have covered - so I am trying to catch them all up. It is a lot of extra work but there is no simple way around it ...just how it is.

I hear you about the rain and our fur babies. Clover loves chasing bugs and lizards and sitting in the garden but with all our rain she is also inside. It has also been very cold here for the last couple of weeks so neither her nor Toby really want to be outside too much at present - and I don't want to leave the door open for them to go in and out as they please.

@Faith-and-Hope I have been up all night so far. I saw some disturbing news items last night which affected me a lot. I have been distracting myself sanding down the grout in the bathroom. I finished that so cleaned the bathroom also ...yes I know - only I would do something so big to distract myself lol But the positive is that it is now all done and I only have the ceiling and trims to paint - which I will probably do next holidays now as they are only 4 weeks away.

I did some shopping yesterday for the kids at school and some things for the bathroom - took me most of the day but I promised the kids they could 'go shopping' this week so I had to do it. If you remember, they have little jars that they earn pebbles to put in and then can go shopping by spending their pebbles. I will set it all up Tuesday after work so they can shop Wednesday morning ...actually looking forward to seeing their little faces and watching them work out how much they want to spend and what they want to save for later.
