That sounds awful @Zoe7 and I am so sorry you have been suffering. I have a mouthful of implants and crowns which hopefully, will give me no more pain or expense.

Ive been off work for almost 7 weeks after foot surgery. I have another 6 weeks of recovery at home with physio to go. It hasn’t been too painful, just boring.

In fact I’ve been so bored I’ve enrolled at Uni!! Yes, I am crazy!!

Exciting news about further study @Eve7 What course are you doing?

@Faith-and-Hope Starting to get a little relief tonight so hoping to sleep soon. It has been pretty hard to sleep for weeks ...doing a lot of laying down, feeling generally unwell with bouts of pain but no long periods of sleep - I feel tonight will be different as long as the intense pain does not come back. Unfortunately with the infection there is still a fair bit of pain but it is more manageable tonight. Some Toby and Clover cuddles in a warm bed now where I am heading 🐶😺💗 How are you Hon?

I have probably missed you know @Zoe7 as you were heading to bed nearly an hour ago. I have my uni submissions coming up, and what would life be if they didn’t clash with some legals, huh ….. :face_with_rolling_eyes:

Just trucking’ on, but loving some of the things I am doing this semester. Lots of mixed media, and there is a lot more I want to do in this direction once my course has finished.

A but stuck on an essay at the mo. There are a lot of different instructions and it all has to be correct ….. turbulence in the background doesn’t help me to concentrate, but I will get through it. I only need to pass …..

@Faith-and-Hope I love hearing that you are loving some of the things you are doing this semester - despite all the legals hitting you hard still, you are getting through all your uni work and also finding some joy in the processes - hold onto that joy Hon as it is the little things that help to sustain us 💗

Had to have another day off today. I struggled through the pain yesterday and was up and down all night with stomach issues - most likely side effects from the ABs - and feeling very drained and tired today. I have slept a lot today so far - and the pain is subsiding - so should be back to work tomorrow. I am falling behind again with not being able to do much for the past week through the pain so that is adding some stress into the mix. Reports are due in a couple of weeks too so really need to get on top of things over the coming week. I know I can only do what I can do but that 'doing' is going to need to be pushed a lot to try to get on top of things again. Unfortunately I have also been having some bad dreams again also that are really affecting me so a lot to get my head around at present. ...one day at a time 👍

The pain has decreased today @Snowie but I am still not feeling well. The medication is helping with the infection (slowly) but having some side effects with an upset tummy. I am going to be in bed early to hopefully let everything settle overnight ...could have easily slept all day but figured that would not help tonight. Not going to eat tonight as that just aggravates my stomach and I will likely be up all night again ...hopefully back to work tomorrow.
