I’m very stressed and worried as my dad is in hospital. Having lots of tests. Not sure what’s going on.

@Emelia8thats a good way to see it, Mother's Day is only relevant if it's relevat, my mum has passed, it's only for those with mum's really. So, we got company tomorrow, in spirit. Hope we have a very normal happy day tomorrow. its what make it xox

I feel for you @Emelia8. I lost my Mum years ago now, but I cook one of her dishes on her special days as a way of honouring her, and when I can I go to a coffee shop by myself to “have a cuppa with her”.

Maybe you can do something special for your Mum and your Holly and your hubby on the special days ? Plant a special flower for Holly perhaps, maybe with Holly in the name ? It might take a bit of thinking about. I know you love your garden and have some property around you, so maybe garden-y ornamental things will work for you ? Art or craft projects like quilting can be a comfort too, making a square for special people or events.

I’m sorry to hear that your Dad is in hospital and undergoing tests @BlueBay . It’s very tough for you, and a scary time. Are you still writing letters for him to keep in a box at home ? Maybe write down how you are feeling and how you would like to be there for him, because you are in heart and spirit.

I am trying to go on the disability support pension if I can , waiting for the doctors appointment

Our Friday customer informed us that she has just lost her job --- wondering if she needs us anymore, have to wait and see ( aww no more smoky @Zoe7 ) if it happens, might be jumping the gun here my friends
