A challenge I would think 😕 Hope this is a time yo rekindle some first love maybe.
Any good churches to visit there? Did you go this morning? Love ancient architecture and history. Churches are great for it. Hugz xox

Re: Far and Away

Good afternoon @Appleblossom @Faith-and-Hope @Eve7 @Zoe7 @Shaz51 and anyone else around.

Been out for a bit of today shopping. First time for days that I have been out of my pj's so that is a positive! Changed the sheets on my bed so looking forward to going to bed tonight 😁

Hope you have all had a nice day, whether it has been busy or quiet.

Sending lots of love to you all 💕💕

Re: Far and Away

I am so glad you’re up and about @Snowie and will be sleeping in clean sheets tonight.

I am back home now and looking forward to a night in my own bed.

Re: Far and Away

Glad you are now back home @Eve7 Nothing is better then sleeping in our own bed 😊

Just watching the footy with the dog. Having leftovers for tea so no cooking required, only heating up!!

What is for tea at your house?

Re: Far and Away

@Faith-and-Hope I hear you about that tiredness Hon. No doubt everything going on for you is taking everything you have to just get through each day. Keep swimming sweetheart - that end to it all is coming 💗💗💗

So good for you to get out for a bit @Snowie It breaks up that monotony a bit and that does help. 💙💙💙

Must be good to be home @Eve7 I hope your athletes did well and made you proud. 💜💜💜

@Appleblossom Had a late night myself after not being able to sleep - despite how exhausted I was - but it is what it is and I have caught up a bit today. Hope you are travelling okay today ❤❤❤

Re: Far and Away

I am laying on my bed @Snowie with the fan on.

I found some Rocky Road in the fridge so I’ve eaten that….don’t know who owned it but as it was in my fridge. I’ll replace it if the owner complains.

Leftovers are always good for Sunday night. I flew home on qantas so they fed me some lunch. I’ll go to sleep early tonight.

Do you have plans for the week?

@Zoe7

My athletes did really well with

1 🥉

3 x 4th

1 x 6th

1 x 7th

1 x 11th

1 x 12th

4 did pbs so the coach is happy and a couple were disappointed but that’s sport…the highest highs and the lowest lows.

Re: Far and Away

Yes that is sport @Eve7 but those that did PBs must be happy with that. So often athletes compare themselves against everyone else as well as their places but to do a personal best is really all we can ask of ourselves.

An early night sounds good to me @Eve7

Well done on how well your athletes went. You should be so proud as their coach.

Not much planned this week hon. Really need to go to the supermarket so might do that tomorrow. And the normal washing!!

@Zoe7 sounds like you caught up on some sleep today which is good. We had an extra hour because of day light savings ending which was good.

Re: Far and Away

I have filled the washing machine but won’t turn it on until morning @Snowie

Because I’ve been away for over a week I had that extra hour sleep in this morning too.

I am really proud and so happy for them. Just waiting on the selectors to make their choice ahh that is stressful.

You are right @Zoe7 to “go where you’ve never gone before” is a huge accomplishment. Kids (and parents) put too much pressure on themselves.

Re: Far and Away

I was awake in the early hours of last night so that extra hour just went on some more work @Snowie This evening was interesting as Toby and Clover wanted their dinner early - they do not get daylight savings ending lol I gave it to them half an hour later then what they would have had it and will slowly extend that time out across the next week. Tues and Thurs will be easy as I won't be home until later.

@Eve7 My sister and I were really fortunate with our Mum - she never put any pressure on us in regards to sport - she encouraged us and was behind us all the way but also supported us in what we wanted to do rather than push us into anything. I wish all parents could be as fantastic as my Mum was - it actually brought the best out of ourselves as we were the ones that wanted to improve, succeed and do our best.
