A challenge I would think 😕 Hope this is a time yo rekindle some first love maybe.
Any good churches to visit there? Did you go this morning? Love ancient architecture and history. Churches are great for it. Hugz xox

🤗💕 @Zoe7 ....

I am really going to miss my garden ..... I am going to have to make the most of virtual ones.

Maybe I need to paint one ....

Re: Far and Away

Painting a garden is a great idea @Faith-and-Hope

I'll try to post photos of my garden for you if I can actually find the energy to be out in it. I really have a lot I want to do and it is so frustrating not being able to do any of it. The garden (and making things) have always been my biggest escapes from 'the world'. I 'm sure if I could sleep and not feel no exhausted all the time then I could start doing little things again - but for now I just feel really demoralised with my whole existence

Re: Far and Away

I understand @Zoe7 ...... not wanting to move so far away from my home is a simmering distress under the surface for me, but I just have to suck it up and keep moving forward ...... try to focus on positives about being there, and hopefully the recovery of my family as a result. In this moment though, it’s still not okay.

I am glad you have some familiarity with that other city, and perhaps you can post to-do things for me here. I am familiar with the zoo there ...., ❣️

Re: Far and Away

None of this is ok for you Hon

That Zoo is my favourite zoo - ran out of time the last time I was there - spent too much time at the giraffes and meerkats lol

@Faith-and-Hope I will have to put together a list for you then we can 'visit' places together (I will want photos of course!)

Re: Far and Away

Yes, beautiful @Zoe7 ......

I was sketching a giraffe in an overseas zoo one day. He was in an enclosure with a relatively low fence, but a trench between that and where visitors stand ...... and he was intimidated by the fact that I was looking into his eyes and “scrutinising” him ..... wasn’t comfortable at, and leaned right over to look at my sketchbook to try to work out what was happening and what it had to do with him .....

It’s amazing to see the intelligent thought processing.
