Morning @Zoe7 @Snowie and anyone else around.

I know it sounds a bit simplistic @Snowie, but can you find a shoebox and “decorate” it with small cut out images from magazines of things that you associate with her ? You can begin with a layer of images that represent anger, distress and disappointment, and then “wallpaper” over it with other images that perhaps disguise the feelings you have expressed underneath, but you know they are there. You know that you are allowed to have those feelings, but the outer layer of the box is your privacy shield. The box actually belongs to her …… when she says something nasty, write it down on a piece of paper and “return” it to her by way of the box. There will come a time in the future where you will be able to return all of those nasty things to her, because they are hers, not yours, and not for you ….. or you will be able to dispose of the box in a way that feels right to you at the time.

Ots just a suggestion Hon, but I hope it helps.

Anothrr approach might be to write the nasty comment on toilet paper, and then flush it !!

I know I have mentioned this before but can you also collect some pebbles and write something good each day on one then put it in a jar. Watch them grow each day to show you all the good in your life. I am doing something similar with my kids. They each have a little jar and I give out pebbles when they do something kind, helpful, etc. We will have a 'rock shop[' at the end of each term where they can 'spend' their pebbles to buy different things.

My day is getting away from me a bit. Did the shopping I needed to do this morning but had to go back to one shop as they gave me the wrong thing. I didn't realise until I got home. Was a late start as I had a headache but luckily meds helped it today. So after those and a nap I felt more able to tackle the day.

Have also washed the car so no doubt it will rain soon lol - that usually happens! I am going to make some potato salad and coleslaw this afternoon to have during the week. That will cut out some cooking time and allow me to plug away at some more work each night.

Need to get into some more work now for a couple of hours, make the coleslaw and potato salad, have a shower and settle in front of the tv for a little while before an early night. Going to have my meds super early so hopefully can sleep, get up early and head into work to organise some things before the kids get there.

I hope you have had some nice moments in your day Hon - hold onto those and continue to float for as long as you need 💗💗💗
