Far and Away

Been everywhere to find that screw - no luck ...but there is one place to go back to as they are closed until tomorrow @Faith-and-Hope If they don't have it then it looks like I will have to order one on line and wait for it to turn up. The postage cost is more than the screw itself but still cheaper than buying a new drill!!!

Got a couple of hours before I leave for the dentist so going to do a little housework before I leave so I don't have to do it when I get home - not expecting to be able to do much as I have a feeling the tooth will need to come out

Dentist all done and no tooth removed 👍 He is pretty sure he has saved that troublesome tooth and I hope that is the case. He also fixed another one that he had filled previously but wasn't right - so I also do not have to go back to get that done. He usually only does one at a time but luckily it was a quick fix.

Made a quick stop in at Spotlight but they didn't have what I needed so will have to have a look around - no rush though so might even try online. Going to feed fur babies and do a few things before settling in for an evening of tennis

Yes to uni @Former-Member .... 😏. Might be continuing online tho. Have to wait and see.

Oh @Faith-and-Hope I am jealous. I have the heater on here tonight but would loooove to be in the water. That was the great thing about the pool I used to go to - no matter the outside temp, it was always perfect in the heated water. Hope you enjoy yourself for both of us 👍😁

I forgot to look what time the 'hopeful screw place' opens tomorrow so I will leave it until about 10am. I had planned on going out early to do my grocery shopping/chemist then do everything else but still waiting for my pay to go in. I think it is late because of the holidays - should be in tomorrow but maybe not as early as I had hoped.

Do you have any plans for tomorrow? ...and how is the 'great 3D puzzle' going?

Hey @Faith-and-Hope I got out early and did most of my shopping but had to order cat litter online to pick up as it was not on special in store. The supermarket is a few suburbs away (none close by) and several of the stores I needed to go to are on the way so I have left them until this afternoon. I also forgot my prescriptions so still need to go to the chemist as well.

Good news - the tool place I went to can order in the screw I need and it should only take a couple of days - so waiting now to get a call to pick it up. I don't necessarily need it immediately as I still have my corded drill to use if I need but it is also a good opportunity to chill a bit more and do very little ...get into that painting and sunflower making maybe...

Had to get dressed for a plumber coming in, but that's okay. The toilet leak is fixed now 🎉👍

I would not have bothered getting dressed - would have thrown a jumper over my jammies

just about to head out again and get everything else done. No doubt the chemist will take ages as per usual so leaving plenty of time to get done everything I need before I pick up the cat litter. Going to take Tobes for a drive as it is cool enough today for him to sleep in the car. Won't be longer than a few minutes in each place and he can come in the trolley at Bunnings with me even though I won't be long 👍
