A challenge I would think 😕 Hope this is a time yo rekindle some first love maybe.
Any good churches to visit there? Did you go this morning? Love ancient architecture and history. Churches are great for it. Hugz xox

Can only manage about 20 minutes at a time now @Shaz51 - everything is aching and tired. I won't get it all done today at this rate - just want to sleep It is difficult when you have the motivation but no energy

Very true @Zoe7

Same here , that's why we are going to cut back on the jobs ( we have 3 less regular jobs now )

my mum gets upset about her garden but I ache soo much when I do it and then I pay for it for days after

Re: Far and Away

I fully understand that @Shaz51 - same here The area between the sides of our houses I used to do a few times a year to keep it manageable but with my neighbour dying I just have not been able to bring myself to do it - the result is it is now a much bigger job. I have plenty of time though - not expecting rain until Sunday so a few days up my sleeve to get it all done bit by bit. My sister may call in today or tomorrow so I might ask her to help for a few minutes to get it all onto the trailer - or at least look after Toby whilst I do it 👍

Re: Far and Away

@Faith-and-Hope @Shaz51 Spent yesterday afternoon at my sister's trying to fix her partner's computer - it is running too slow and he really needs a new one - which I told him when he got home ...so we gave up and I will go shopping with him next week to get a new one. Also fixed my whipper snipper so I can do my old neighbours yard. It needed new fuel lines, new spool and a good clean up - but is now good to go 👍 Got to get stuck into it before it gets too warm so will check in later.

Hope there is some good in your days

Flag on the play.... @Faith-and-Hope Fuel tank has a crack in it so have attempted to seal it but that will need a couple of days to dry and see if it works ...so Plan B ...and for now that plan is do nothing, see if I can get a cheap one online (not available at Bunnings ) and see what I can do later.

Re: Far and Away

Hey @Faith-and-Hope Think my quick fix has worked - used roofing sealant (genius ...if I do say so myself lol) I will leave it until tomorrow to dry more but it is looking good so far. Also found my brush cutter attachment so everything good to go again 🤞 I will tape over the cracked part also to give it a little extra strength and see how it goes. I have found another tank online if this turns out not to work (might even get it as a backup anyway).

So plan B today ended up being doing more of the space between the houses and also I started sanding an old wooden art trolley that is very weathered (been outside for years). It is coming up well ...still needs a fair bit of work but have bought some new wheels for it and it should fit under the existing art table at school when I have finished. I cleaned up all the cuttings and put them on the trailer then had a much needed shower (think there was just as much of the cuttings stuck in my hair as on the trailer hahaha). Vacuumed also - including Toby lol - he had dirt and leaves everywhere because of course he tried to help 🤣

Enjoying some quiet time in front of the tv now with Tobes asleep next to me and Clover chasing bugs outside. She turned one yesterday so no longer a kitten (officially) but still very much one in my eyes. She really is adorable, loves chasing bugs, pouncing on Toby, 'helps' me make the bed and comes running most times I call her. I am super lucky to have such beautiful fur babies. I miss Cat but am also so grateful that Clover came into my life and even more so that she and Toby get on so well. Cat will always be my baby girl - she was one special cat

How are you going Hon? How has your day been?

Re: Far and Away

Slow-ish day here @Zoe7. I was supposed to have a dr's apt but the doc is sick ..... so deferred to another dr tomorrow.

Still moving house, so unpacked another car load across the day and will need to go pick up another lot now. In between I have been working in craft projects. Keeping me out if mischief across the summer ..... lol.

Re: Far and Away

Just a check up Hon or something else? You know how much I worry about you

Great you are keeping out of mischief LOL and being crafty at the same time 👍

I intend to finish re-doing the legs on my giraffe and painting him so I can take him into school but I am leaving that until we have hotter weather so I can be inside with the air con on. Whilst it is lovely outside I want to get as much done as I can. If the seal holds tomorrow I will do my neighbours front yard then I can begin on Cat's corner next week. I sprayed the weeds last week and they are finally starting to die. I need to get rid of the load on the trailer first and can't do that until I get paid next week ....then I can get a load of dirt for the corner and begin putting everything in. Once the dirt settles I can do the rest.

@Faith-and-Hope Clover came up for cuddles earlier and now is back outside again ...watching the bugs and the sprinkler go around ...she really is one out of the box!
