Far and Away

Good morning @Faith-and-Hope @Snowie Have seen my GP - a long appointment. She recommended the same pdoc as my present pdoc (even before I told her who my pdoc recommended). So they really are on the same page. Unfortunately this pdoc will not be back from leave until late Jan/Feb at the earliest so it will be a wait to even see if we can get into seeing her. I am not too concerned about the wait time though as my pdoc has said she will continue to see me until I have someone else I am comfortable with.

Extremely tired today - not a good night but am going to get outside before the rain comes again ...then I can catch up on sleep when it does come and do some more school work tonight.

Glad you got to see your gp hon @Zoe7 Does sound like your gp and pdoc have the same thinking. Hopefully this new pdoc is a good fit for you.

Hoping you got outside a bit for today. Has been raining here most of the day so been an inside day here.

@Faith-and-Hope @Snowie Did a little bit of work outside when I got home but was too tired so I slept for a couple of hours and then headed back outside with a little more energy. I have now finished all the digging, cutting and pulling out nails - and swept and hosed everything down - so it is now all ready to put in the new foundations, stakes, sleepers and then decking. Nearly all the decking boards were warped too much to salvage so I will need another trip to Bunnings to get one or two more (haven't measured it up yet - will do that tomorrow). Planning now to have a shower then do a little more school work with no doubt Clover playing with my feet and Toby laying next to her lol

Sounds like you have achieved alot again today @Zoe7 well done hon. That nap must of helped you.

My day has been ok. Went up the street, had a nap. Has not stopped raining here all day.

That rain is headed our way too @Snowie - expecting the rest of the holidays to be wet so not sure when I will get to the deck again. I have bought some quick dry cement (and the corner is quite sheltered) so once there is a break in it I can get back out there (might just be an hour or so at a time but that will eventually get the job done).

Just getting out must be good for you Hon - especially after all the lockdowns. I hope this evening is easy on you

You are so handy in so many ways hon @Zoe7 It is great that you can get out to your garden. The rain certainly is heading your way if it like anything here. Izzy and I have had a cuddle day!!

Hoping the lockdowns stay away for us and I can finally get back to seeing my psych in person.

@Snowie You have been waiting so long to see your supports in person so I have everything crossed for you Hon 🤞 It really isn't the same as over the phone or even by skype etc. The actual getting out of the house and physically having to go somewhere is such an important part of therapy - makes you have to actually be somewhere and do something that is just not the same as beeing stuck at home.

Have had a shower and cleaned up a bit so now looking forward to the evening with my fur babies and completing a little more school work. I am working through it slowly but do not want to leave it until next week as I know time will get away from me quickly. The sooner I get it done too the more time I will have just for me 👍
