Another day out and about here ...... 2nd vax, but I have to drive for it. Fortunately a branch of the art shop I need for assignment supplies is close by there, and a friend I haven't seen on this trip yet. So much going on around me ......

Not much happening at home so far today @Faith-and-Hope Had my pdoc appointment this morning and she informed me she is closing her private practice. It won't be for 6 months (and she will see me longer if needed) but have to now find someone else. I am naturally pretty flat after that news - she was reluctant to tell me today after all I have been going through but also knows how long it can take to get into someone else so she felt it best to tell me sooner.She has recommended someone that she feels would be a good fit but getting into them is another issue. I have (luckily) made an appointment for tomorrow morning with my GP (there must have been a cancellation as she is impossible to get into for weeks usually - although I know if I really need to see her she will fit me in). I know I am generally in a much better place and seeing the pdoc is more a check-in and keep things on track visit every couple of months but it is still really tough

I have to take Tobes to the vet this afternoon for his annual check up so am going to try to paint the sleeper and part of the fence that needs a touch up beforehand. I really just want to sleep the day away but know once I start to head down that road it is very easy for me to start to spiral down quickly....

I feel you @Zoe7. It can be incredible tough to lose a supporting professional who we've found really effective or have developed a good rapport with. If your current p-doc has been able to recommend someone, I wonder if they or your GP might be able to provide a more comprehensive handover.
