Nelly has been clingy, as in staying close by me, last night and this morning, which has been a surprise, following g our 'argument' about the harness yesterday.

I am thinking of getting up and bringing grandbaby's cardi back from the lounge to continue knitting in bed for a while. I reckon getting up will make me hungry, so might grab a coffee to bring back from the kitchen with it.

Need to do a big tidy up and sort out today. I hope I can get all that done in one day cos it will feel really good, and like I am back on top of things, if I can.

Awww she still loves you hon @Faith-and-Hope It is nice when they stay close and want cuddles!

Hoping you can do a clean up hon, it always feels a bit better afterwards when we have accomplished something. I need to do some washing and cleaning too.

Struggling to get up and moving myself this morning - so tired and not feeling well again ...but I am not surprised as I never really got over being unwell during the week ...ran on necessity for the last 2 days to get the art into the competition. I am going to try to get up and do a little gardening - hoping the fresh air and light activity will help - if not back to the couch for the day ...which is plan B but may be necessary. Was going to change the bed but Clover is asleep on the pillow so cannot move her lol

...just started raining so plan B is also shelved ...plan C - head out to the garage and work on my laundry basket lid 👍

@BlueBay Mum is on a ward and may actually be able to come home sometime this coming week - she is still very tired but improving each day - they won't let her leave until she has regained some energy and can walk unaided. She has her central line put in for continual ABs for the next few months so that has been done earlier than expeted ...all great signs.

Plan C sounds like the go @Zoe7 I hope you are able to get some rest too, you certainly deserve it after all you have been through the last few weeks.

I am glad your mum is on the mend. Slowly but surely. I am sure you and your fmaily are just taking it day by day but would be really good if she could come home soon. Can they provide help in her home at all?

Hehe, sounds like Clover is comfortable on the pillow. The sheets will just have to wait till another day!!

I don't know what the plan is for Mum ongoing yet @Snowie but she will need some support for a while. I am sure the hospital will organise what she needs as so far.they have been fabulous.I will need at least weekly visits to do some of the housework for the next couple of months but I can take both Tobes and Clover with me - a family day out lol

Going to settle in this afternoon to watch the footy - and if I fall asleep again so be it. My Lions do not play until tomorrow afternoon but there are a couplr of games on today that I would like to watch - your team being one of them 👍

I am glad the hospital has been good so far. Hopefully it continues like that when she goes home @Zoe7

Just about to go up the suprmarket and then might watch some footy this afternoon too.
