A challenge I would think 😕 Hope this is a time yo rekindle some first love maybe.
Any good churches to visit there? Did you go this morning? Love ancient architecture and history. Churches are great for it. Hugz xox

Pleased to hear about your Mum being on the ward @Zoe7 and it’s great that you can visit her.

We’re so lucky here to have you, @Faith-and-Hope @Former-Member and @Adge here on the forum. You all bring such wisdom, truth and friendship.and I still can’t believe I’m here with you all.

Lots of love and sleep well tonight

Hi @Faith-and-Hope @Zoe7 @Adge

I'm here for now - it's not good that you had a scatty day but what a wonderful euphanism Faith - I really like that - scatty eh!

I wouldn't mind if I had a therapist who was involved with Sane Forums - I have actually spoken to people at Life Line who are - rarely of course - I don't ring Life LIne often - but it does help - I think they have insight. I never talk about what happens in the forum though - that is forum business

Hey @Adge - it was good to see you in the discussion last night - you have had a lot of losses and it seems that people really aren't on your wavelength - I understand that - and you have lost memories - now I really believe that losing memories is a real cause to grieve - I have a fantastic memory and I really use those memories to enjoy or whatever - mostly I fixed on my holidays when things are a big difficult - not having them would be a disaster - I really feel for you

Zoe - I hope getting the kids' competition sorted helps you get away from stress and feeling tired or not well tomorrow - and it's Friday so it's one day. Then the weekend is there to catch up if it is too much then take the time

Sending my thoughts to all of you

Re: Far and Away

Hi @Eve7

I am glad you joined in the discussion last night - on grief and loss - and it seems to me that you were very vulnerable and thought that you had shared too much

IMO I don't think you did - perhaps you felt as if you had opened a very private story and I understand. It seems you lost a baby daughter and this is unimaginable. And H was the only person who understood and he has died too. This has to be so hard for you

It must have been a long time ago too - though I could easily be mistaken. My son died 35 years ago - I just had the anniversary. He did have the chance to live into his teens - he was a very troubled boy - his story is something I feel as if I need to write but it's too hard. Perhaps you would like to share something about your baby - who had such a short time - if it's okay with you

You have lost so much - it must be painful. You are not alone. I am glad you shared that much though - and sorry if you feel it was too much

Sending my best thoughts

Thanks @ Eve7 & @ Faith-and-Hope, appreciate it.
Yes, Brizzy is in lockdown, trying to avoid what's happening in Sydney. My son got a week off work (to spend on the beach) and somewhat peeved he's stuck at home.

Without Compassion & Kindness - The World would be a Very Bleak Place.

I would not want to live here - I would definitely move to Mars, or someplace else....

Background Info (on me) - Apparently I have a Very Bright Smile, & Piercing Eyes (whatever that means).

So I am told.

My smile can be seen from quite a way off (apparently).

My Bright Orange Pants can definitely be seen from a Long Way Off - I've been told that several times.
